I'm In Love With a Vampire Hunter

We climbed out of the attic and then walked around back to get onto the bikes again. I sat on the back of Edgar's and we took off to some sort of secret or abandoned club house out in the fields. Okay, it was pretty much some kind of large shed. We got off the bikes and walked inside. "This is where we do our training. We train two times a week, or when we just have spare time when we aren't taking shifts in the comic shop," Alan explained. "You already have your equipment, but if you need back-up or whatever, there is more supplies in these cabinets," Edgar told me. I nodded and leaned against a table which fell apart which made me, the idiot and embarrassing person who ever existed, totally awkward. "S-sorry, 'bout your..um.." I stuttered now blushing. "Chill. It's been gathering dust for..god knows how long," Edgar informed me which made me giggle.

We walked outside into the fields and grabbed our stakes and water pistols. "Alright Madz, this is your first training session as a soon to be vampire hunter. Are you sure that a little weak girl like you can manage this?" Edgar asked while smirking. "Haha," I sarcastically laughed. "Very funny. I'm sure I can keep myself stable, what about you?" I shot back at him. He rolled his eyes. "Now, for your first excercise, pretend that Edgar is a vampire. What would you do if you saw him coming? Stake him? Squirt holy water at him? Choose what's best," Alan explained. "I'm pretty sure this is going to be really easy for me.." I smirked. "Come on princess, show us what you've go-" I cut Edgar off by punching him in the stomach then landing from a backflip onto my two feet as he's now on the ground. I walked over him then sat on his stomach grabbing my stake slowly and placing the tip of the stake lightly on his forehead. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure I can keep myself safe pretty boy," I smirked at him. "I'm actually impressed, not many girls are like that..I find it hot," Edgar chuckled. "In your dreams, sweet pea," I said then got off him. Alan patted my back. "Great defence! So it's obvious, seeing that you're good with protecting yourself. I think that's all we have to see for you today, what do you think Edgar?" Alan said as we both look over at Edgar. "It's good..just not the best," Edgar spat back at us. I rolled my eyes.

After a couple hours of training, we heading back to the boardwalk. Night was falling and we arrived back at the comic shop at around 7pm. We got off the bikes and I saw that creepy dude smirking at me from the night before. Yep, I'm pretty sure he's a bloodsucker. I ignored him and walked inside. "Well, today was fun!" I said and Alan smiled. "I'm glad it was. You seemed pretty good at all this," he told me as I blushed lightly. "I took karate lessons when I was seven, then I became a black belt at nine," I said feeling confident in myself. "Whoa, that's pretty impressive.." Edgar said then I blushed again. "Do I see someone blushing..?" Alan pointed out. "N-no! I was..I'm just red still from training.." They looked at each other nodding slowly while smirking. "You guys are crazy..but I like you for that. Y'know, I've never really had friends like you guys, so thanks," I said smiling. Alan walked over to me hugging me closely. "Aw, look a moment," Edgar said rolling his eyes looking jealous again. Was he the jealous type? "C'mon Edgar, you know ya wanna join!" Alan sang and I giggled. "Maybe another time, I'm going home, there's a lot of things on my mind right now.." he said then was about to walk out. "W-wait!" I cried out. He turned around and I stood in front of him. "Thanks, for helping me with training today.." I thanked him. He shrugged and I saw a little smile grow on his face. "No biggie, it's kind of something I do," he laughed. "You're such a dipshit," I said then kissed his cheek lightly then walked away. "See ya guys!" I said walking home. And Edgar was left there. Speechless and confused. He lifted his hand to the cheek she kissed and blushed red. He smirked and got onto his bike heading home

I arrived home and greeted my mum. "Hey, how was your day?" She asked as I was walking upstairs. I didn't turn around since I was blushing like crazy but replied with "Good." I walked into my room then shut my door. I slid my back down against my door while saying to myself,

"I think I'm in love with Edgar Frog."

A/N aww I really loved writing this chapter!
