I walk through the endless darkness, glimpses of light showing through cracks in the walls but quickly fade away as the sun chooses someone to praise upon. I sigh and continue to walk, trying to avoid the pits of black ooze who want to drag me down and tear me apart. Not too far into the distance, I see another glimpse of light. I run to it trying to catch it before it was gone. I reached my arm to feel its warm, happy, glow. It felt like a warm bundle of kittens on my fingers. I loved the way it praised me, I stand under it a smile forming on my face as it gave me happiness. I laugh for the first time in a long time, the happy feeling consuming my heart and body. I didn't want it to end, but it had to. The sun faded away and I was stuck with the pitch-black darkness. My happy mood faded into what I knew so well. The tunnels I knew so well, I drag my hands along the side, walking with no destination in sight.
