Charlie P.O.V

I had a hard day at work, I mean just a crazy wack job of a boss that's all. I mean at It's my best friend's birthday. At least there's something to look forward to. Since he's turning 21 he decided that he was going to the bar for the first time, well for the first time where he's planning to actually drink something. And he told me since we're best friends I'd better be there. It was all pretty boring since all they were doing taking shots. Which I couldn't do, well legally. I was pretty bored but I met this sweet and funny girl. Here I was at a bar and she was lugging around a duffel bag, I mean she was cute but I'm not the kind of guy to hit on random women. Anyways she sat down on the stool next to mine and said.
"Can I have some water please." to the bartender.
She looked pretty tired. We talked for a while. She told me about her sisters, her school, the wedding she was going to go to. It was almost 4am so I decided to ask if she needed anything. I mean I was getting bored either way.
"Elizabeth, right?"
"Nah, you can call me Liz. All my friends call me Liz" she smiled, sleepy.
"Okay, Liz, do you want me to drop you home?" I asked.
"I mean, I don't think you want to drive me 30 miles," she said all jokingly.
"To a hotel then?" I suggested.
"Sure, why not." She giggled.
"Alright come on" I put an arm around her protectively and picked up her duffel bag.
We got to my grey Nissan and she climbed into the back. I slid her bag next to her.
Then I reached over and clicked her seatbelt into place. I think she must've forgotten.
I got into the driver's seat and found the closest hotel. I figured she didn't want to stay in a stranger's car too long.
So we got there but she was asleep so I shook her slightly.
"Liz" I whispered
"Liz wake up, we're here" She turned and yawned.
"Oh sorry, um thank you" but when she got out I heard a loud cry so I turned around.
My eyes went wide.
"Hey!" I yelled.
Someone hit her, or something. She was doubling over.
Lord. She was fainting

"Help!" she screamed. her voice breaking.
I threw my door open and ran over to her side of the car in the pouring rain.
"Please please help," she tried to say. Her eyes flutter closed.
"Liz," I said.
I looked to her side, gushing blood. oh my god. Someone stabbed her.
"LIZ," I yelled.
"Listen to me, Liz. Please."

Right as I turned around she crumpled to the floor towards her left side. I ran to her and scooped her up, it was so dark out, but I needed to get her to a hospital.
I needed to get there RIGHT now.
