Deku always walked into homeroom at exactly 7:18. He always trained in the morning, so he wasn't exactly the person that was early to class. Aizawa, on the other hand, tended to be late most of the time. When he came into class at 7:10, you along with most of Class 1A were very surprised. Something was off about the vibes that Aizawa brung into the room, and you weren't the only one to notice.

"Is it just me, or is Mr. Aizawa acting weirder than usual?" Uraraka asked the small group that was surrounding Todoroki's desk. You all nodded in agreement, each of you taking a glance at the sleep-deprived man before looking back at each other. "I wonder what's going on."

Your phone buzzed from the side of your backpack. After grabbing it, your phone lit up and Deku's name appeared on the screen. He wouldn't be texting this early unless something was wrong.. His message popped up on the screen, your mouth forming an O shape.

"Y/N have you seen my black notebook? I've been looking for it since last Wednesday"
"I'm probably going to be late, I have to find it"
"That notebook has a lot of valuable information in it"
"It can't get into the wrong hands"
"PLEASE HELP ME FIND IT"
"Please"

You put your phone down to glance around the classroom, hoping so see the notebook under his desk or on a shelf. Unfortunately you didn't see that familiar black notebook nowhere and had to break the news to him. You promised to keep an eye out for it though. After assuring him, you put your phone away and continued to converse with your peers.

"Where's Midoriya? I'm kind of disappointed in him, he would usually be here by now." Iida glanced at the door but there was no sign of the green haired boy.

"Oh he texted me just a second ago, he said he would be late." You explained to Iida, taking your phone back out of its place in your backpack. "He said he lost his notebook."

Before Iida could respond to your answer, Aizawa had decided to speak after sitting there for 10 minutes. "Alright class, before we start, I have some very shocking news to announce. So everyone take a seat."

With little commotion, everyone went to their seats, looking straight at Aizawa with looks of confusion. You shifted in your seat, the energy in the room shifting negatively. Even Kaminari and Kirishima seemed kind of uneasy.

"I'm sure that you've noticed the back to back villian attacks towards the school. I didn't want to alarm you, but the staff has came to the conclusion that there is a traitor in this school." Small gasps filled the room, which was quickly silenced by him again. "The reason why I'm informing you is because some evidence is telling us that the traitor is, uh," he clears his throat, "Izuku Midoriya."

After that statement, the classroom started to fill with chatter. Most of what you heard was agreeing with Aizawa's crazy assumption. They mentioned how he was always suspicious of everyone's quirk, writing every detail into his book. How he would get flustered whenever someone asked to see it. Do they not realize that, that's how his personality is?

You didn't seem to be the only one that thought so. "That nerd doesn't have the guts to do something like that! You're delusional." Bakugo glared at Aizawa, refusing to believe him. Aizawa just rolled his eyes, ignoring Bakugo's usual attitude.

"Anyways, just try to act normal around him but stay cautious. We don't want to alarm him in any way."

"That's total bullshit coming out of your mouth!" You stand up from your desk, you and Bakugo's glares matching each other. You couldn't believe that everyone would just switch up like that. "Deku would NEVER harm anyone with ill intentions! He is not a-"

"L/N, your behavior is unacceptable in a teaching enviornment! However..." Iida adjusted his glasses on his face. "I'd have to say that L/N and Bakugo are right, sir. I would suggest you look at this alleged evidence again."

"I don't need you, L/N, or anyone else telling me what us adults need to do." Aizawa scowled, going up to the dry erase board and picking up some chalk. "He is a prime suspect and that's final." Todoroki rolled his eyes and folded his arms as he sank in his desk. "Keep this information in this class."

As if it were on cue, Izuku walked into the classroom. And the energy shifted once again. With this new information, everyone was afraid to even speak to him. Well, not everyone, but majority of the class was. They hoped that he didn't hear the conversation.

Unfortunately, he only heard what Aizawa had said about keeping it in the classroom. He was completely oblivious to the weary eyes that shifted to and from him. "Good morning everyone!" His usual cheery voice that lifted everyone's spirits and his reassuring smile still brightened up the room.

Most people just muttered a 'hello', or stayed completely silent. "Hey Deku!" You smiled at the boy as he went to his seat next to you. As soon as he sat down, Aizawa began to teach. The class was still in a bit of hock with the news fresh in their minds.

"What's going on, Y/N? Everyone seems shaken up about something." Izuku whispered to you, his eyes glancing over to you. You couldn't bare to tell him what Aizawa just told him and how most of his beloved classmates reluctantly agreed with him. At least not yet. "I'll tell you when we're out of class." You smiled at him reassuringly.

"I promise."
