That night, Hermione sat at the dinner table. It was silent. Bellatrix sitting to her left, and Draco to her right. Narcissa and Lucius were opposite her, staring into her eyes. Voldemort sat at the head of the table, looking over them all countless times. It was starting to get on Hermione's nerves, but she didn't dare say it. Narcissa took a bite of her steak, and so did Hermione. Bellatrix and Draco joined in, but Nagini ate Voldemort's dinner, and he didn't seem to mind. Then, Lucius said, "My lord, I suggest, that it is fit for Black to undergo-" but he was cut off. "Lucius, may I remind you that she withstood three Cruciatus Curses at the same time, and you're curse this afternoon, and is still alive? She has passed." Voldemort yelled this. He was apparently mad. Hermione knew what he was talking about. There was a test that all death eaters had to go through, but she didn't have to. She had passed. Hermione smiled at this thought, suddenley stuffing her mouth with food to cover it up. Bellatrix smirked happily at Hermione, but she was careful to be very subtle. Lucius Malfoy took a bite of his food, snarling at Hermione's ability to pass the test when he barely did. Hermione ate half of her steak and a few fork-fulls of mashed potatoes before bringing her plate to the kitchen. She put her plate in the sink and waved her wand. The dishes started washing themselves. She stuck her wand back in her pocket and left the kitchen. Bellatrix was waiting outside of it for her, wearing a black nightgown, yawning. "I didn't know it was so late!" Hermione stressed quickly to Bellatrix. She ran with Bellatrix up a couple floors until they reached the fifth floor. The rooms at the end of the hall had doors open for them. "Well, goodnight." Hermione said, walking into her room. "Night, Black." Bellatrix said, and she closed her door. Hermione shut her door and locked it. She wanted to be as alone as possible. There were piles of clothes on her bed, so she put on a tank-top that was In the droors and put on a pair of pants that was in the pile. She laid down and pulled the covers up to her neck. A death eater. Me. This thought was hard to digest in a few minutes, so Hermione closed her eyes, dreaming of what her life would've been like, if Ron and Harry were alive.

Hermione woke up. It was One O'clock in the morning. She wandered out into the hall. Her face was red with heat, her hair falling out of its's tie and flailing everywhere. She could hear distant screaming in the courtyard, but she supposed it was just the usual for living in Malfoy Manor. She peered out the window, and saw "HARRY!" She screamed. Ron, Harry, Sirius, and Lily were on their knees at wand point by Bellatrix, Voldemort, and Carrow. She ran down the stairs and put the door. She pulled her wand out and pointed it at Voldemort. "Put it down, Black." Voldemort said. "No!" Hermione yelled. Harry and Ron were in horrible shape. Ron's hair was brown from dust and mud. Harry's glasses were broken in every place. Lily was in Sirius' arms, reaching for her wand while Sirius did the same. None of them had any energy. Bellatrix walked over to Hermione. "Stupefy!" Hermione yelled. Bellatrix fell back, and Hermione ran up to Carrow. "Stupefy!" Carrow yelled. Hermione dodged his curse "Avada Kedavra!" She killed Carrow. Hermione sprinted to Sirius and Lily's wands. She threw them to them as Voldemort yelled "Stupefy!" Causing Hermione to fall on her face. Now her nose was bleeding, and she had twiested her ankle. Harry used his index finger to slowly pull over his and Ron's wands, and they struggled to get up, but when they did, Harry yelled "Levicourpus!" Voldemort was lifted by his ankle into the air, and the entire Black family (with the exception of Ron, who was a Weasley, but till ran) ran far off into the woods.
