If Things Were Different

Chapter 6

Leroy plopped down Risette onto the floor of the small building. "MMMPH!" Risette said. "Owe!"

"This will be your home for the next few days," Leroy announced.

His purple-haired assistant likewise put down Suki onto the floor.

"Great!" his assistant said. "What are we supposed to do now?"

Leroy grinned. "Well, we've got plenty of entertainment." He eyed the struggling women on the floor.

"MMMPH?!" Risette moaned. "What?"

"MMMPH!" Suki whimpered. "No!"

"Since the princess came all the way back just to see me," Leroy said, "I was thinking we could take her to the other room and have some fun."

"MMMPH! MMMPH!" Suki begged. "N-no! P-please no!"

The purple-haired girl laughed. "Awe, looks like someone's excited." Suki whined and protested as the pair pulled her into the adjoining room.

"If you're going to decorate the Guildhall, you'll have to do a lot of smiling," Leroy said. He grabbed a feather and began to trace it across Suki's body.

"MMMMPH! MMMPH! MMMPH!" Suki screamed. "HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Leroy's assistant smiled. "I thought she wasn't going to enjoy this," she said. "I wonder what else she'll like." She took a strip of cloth and wrapped it around Suki's eyes. "Maybe let's keep it a surprise."

"MMMPH MMMPH MMMPH!!" "Take it off! Please!"

All while Leroy and his helper were tormenting poor Suki, Risette was diligently working to remove her bonds. She found a sharp hook in the wall that she used to cut herself free. Ripping off the cloth, she sighed. "That wasn't too hard," she said to herself. "Now, how do I get them away from Suki?"

Risette carefully crept towards the adjoining room, standing just outside the door, listening in.

"If you're having that much fun, no wonder you came back to us," Leroy said.

"MMMPH MMMPH MMMPH!" Suki whined. "But I'm not!"

Risette quickly slipped in and grabbed the assistant, dragging her into the other room and tying her down. "Stay there," she warned.

"MMMPH!" the girl moaned.

Leroy continued to torment poor Suki. "I think I'm tired of looking at you like that. Let's change your position." He leaned forward and untied Suki's arms, and held them tied them together above her head. He untied her legs and arranged them so that her legs were out to the side and folded. He wrapped a knot around one ankle and tied it to her upper arms. And then he did so with the other. "I think you'll make a perfect centerpiece for the guildhall," he said, looking her up and down.

"MMMPH!" Suki whined.

"Oh, don't worry," Leroy smiled. "We'll still be able to play together."

"MMMPH!" Suki screamed.

At that moment, Risette smacked him on the back of the head with a very large stick, before she untied Suki. "You ok, sweetie?" she asked as she took the gag out.

"Ah- F-fine. I was getting scared though," Suki replied before Risette gave her a quick hug.

"Let's get back to the wagon," Risette said. "I'll take care of you."

At this point, there door flew off its hinges as Henry came charging in. "Alright you ruffians! Round two!" He skidded to a stop.

"Miss Risette and Miss Su!" Henry said. "I apologize for my ill conduct. I failed in my duties to protect you safely en route to Velis Manor. Please accept my sincerest apologies."

"You did your best," Risette replied. "You were on your way here. I was able to break loose from the rope and ambush them."

"Very well done, Miss," Henry congratulated. "We can take these to to Velis Manor. I have an inkling that they're the ones that kidnapped the ladies in the Manor last week. I'm sure the Head Maid will be excited to see them."

"Why wouldn't you just send them to prison?" asked Suki.

Henry's face turned red. "Well, the Head Maid has charge of the Manor when the Queen is away. She takes her duty very personally, and so any ruffians she catches are interrogated by her personally." Before either Risette or Suki could ask any more questions, Henry added, "Best get these two on the carriage." He quickly restrained the unconscious Leroy before taking him to the wagon.

"We'll bring the other one in just a moment," Risette shouted after him. She walked over and took the assistant's gag out.

"Now I don't get paid and I have to look at you," she snarled.

"What did you do with my cousin?" Risette demanded.

"What do I get out of it?" the girl asked indignantly.

Risette's face reddened in anger. "You don't make demands now!"

Suki interjected. "We could loosen her ropes a bit."

"I'd be up for that deal," the girl smiled.

Risette's ears were steaming. She slapped the girl across the face. "Tell me now!"
