KATIES PICTURE ON THE SIDe!
-Katie's POV-
I got out of my car and headed for the campus. I saw people that were rushing by, late for their classes with their bags and papers flying everywhere. Probably the newbies.
I grabbed my Nike bag and headed down for the girls locker room.
"Hey! Katie! Ready for Gym? Heard that we are doing partners!" Asked Damien, one of my most favourite teammates.
"Hell yea!" I yelled excitedly, throwing a fist in the air. Damien chuckled and headed to the boys locker room.
Damien and Dylan are both americans, too. They arrived a year prior to us and we instantly became friends.
When I first arrived in London with Vicki and Chloe, I accidentally signed up for soccer. Well, I still wasn't used to all the British translations and to them, soccer means football and football means soccer. Confusing right? Yeah, I thought so too. So, I was stuck playing on the boys soccer(British) team for a year. Lets just say, the testosterone level was quite high.
I entered the locker room to see Chloe getting her gym clothes on. Of course, she was wearing a stylish outfit. Lime green spandex with a purple tank top. She had a couple of wrist bands on and some cute sneakers, while her curly hair was in a high ponytail.
She smiled, showing of her adorable dimples.
Woah, woah, woah. Let's get something straight here buddy. I am NOT a les. Like, no. Now don't get me wrong, I don't mind gays, lesbians, or bisexuals. I actually have a couple gay friends. But I am not one. I am as straight as a square. I just said they were adorable. Guys usually like Chloe's dimples.
"You excited for tonight?" I asked her, slipping on my black gym shorts. Yeah, I know. No fashion sense.
"Hell to the yes!" She yelled, making the other girls getting ready for PE give us weird glances.
"Good. Because my friend-" I put my hand on her shoulder. "-you have been sober for way too long." I finished with a smirk.
She laughed and tied her cute sneakers. I pulled my grey tee over my head. Once again, no fashion sense.
"Alright ladies! Partner up with one of the boys! We are doing a teamwork drill!" The teacher yelled.
We all moaned in protest.
"Let's move it ladies!" She yelled and blew her whistle.
While most of the girls flooded over to Fane, the popular kid, I go over with Damien. Sometimes, i go with Dylan, his twin brother. They are both cool. Me, Vicki and Chloe became good friends with them because they are also from New York. They are from the city though.
Chloe and Dylan were already talking so I went over to Damien and punched his arm.
"Sup slacker." I acknowledged him.
"Washington! Havn't seen you in a while!" He said giving my cheek a light slap.
"I know right! Like probably 10 minutes!" I said with a mock gasp. We both laughed.
" Oi! Ladies and gents! We are beginning a teamwork unit as you have already heard. So, your partner is now you're running buddy. Now, you're to do eight laps which is equivalent to 2 miles! Go!" The coach boomed.
We both started running, side by side. Me and Damien are probably the fastest runners in the school. Then Victoria, then Chloe and Dylan. We say it's an 'American Thing' but at us girls' old school, they pushed us hard to run.
