"Taehyung your friend is here to see you!" Elrae yelled upstairs.

The little boy threw his toys and wasted no time in running down the stairs. 'Jiminie's here?!" He eagerly asked his mother.

"No, your friend Jungkook is here to see you."

"Jungkook?" He asked, confused.

Just as Taehyung started to tell his mother he knew no one named Jungkook, a boy who seemed to be the same height as him entered the room. He had brown hair with chocolate-colored orbs and big doe eyes.

Instantly recognizing the boy, Taehyung's smile quickly turned into a frown. "What do you want?!"

"Taehyung! That's not the way to talk to our guest, go apologize!" His mother scolded him.

Taehyung dragged his feet towards the boy who had recently started picking on him for no reason.

Usually, Jimin would be there to protect him but he hasn't seen his best friend for a while now and he was starting to get worried.

Once Taehyung's mother was nowhere in sight, Jungkook pushed Taehyung, making him fall to the ground. "Where's your little boyfriend to protect you now, huh?" Tears fell from Taehyung's eyes, making Jungkook laugh. "Stop being such a baby for once!"

"Tiny..." Taehyung sobbed.

Jungkook crouched down so he could make eye contact with the crying boy in front of him. "Calling for your little boyfriend? I'm afraid you won't be seeing him anymore."

"W-what?"

"I saw him leaving with his parents three nights ago with bags in their hands," Jungkook tried to hide the smirk on his face. "Looks like he left you all alone."

Within a matter of seconds, Taehyung stood up, pushing Jungkook out of the way and running across the street to the house he had grown so attached to.

He violently knocked on the door, hoping that the only person he cared about didn't abandon him.

Taehyung's heartbeat slowed down when the door opened but he felt it break again when he was met with a young couple holding their newborn son.

"Where's Jiminie?! Where's my tiny?!" The couple stared at the boy in disgust due to his rude behavior.

"If you're looking for the previous owners, they moved out a couple of days ago." They closed the door in Taehyung's face before he even had a chance to comprehend what they just said.

His body started to shake and his breathing became ragged.

The air suddenly felt hard to inhale and the tears just wouldn't stop falling

'He wouldn't leave me.'

'He promised he would always protect me.'

'So why did he leave without telling me?'

"Seems like you're stuck with me now." Taehyung's head hung low as he turned around and faced Jungkook.

"Shh, it's okay," Jungkook pulled the sobbing boy into a hug and Taehyung wasted no time in wrapping his arms around Jungkook's waist. "I'll take care of you." Taehyung was too busy crying his eyes out to notice the devious look Jungkook had on his face.

"I won't ever hurt you Taehyung."
