Authors Note :
When I read books I hate the author's notes that are too long so sometimes skip them. So, mine are gonna be very short. I hope you like the first chapter.
There was once a man named Alex who lived on a busy street, his wife, Natalie had died a few years ago and Natalie was not able to have children, so as you would guess, he was lonely. He had lived a good life and was happy, his only regret was not fulfilling his and his wife's wish to see the world. Alex and Natalie were friends as children. They first were just friends who wanted to explore the world together but, over time they had fallen in love. At their wedding, they both made a vow that if one of them died the other would keep on exploring the world. But, they first wanted to have a child so they could share the wonders of the earth with someone other than themselves. That was when Natalie found out that she could not give birth. They didn't have enough money to explore the world yet so they used a few years to make money. In those years they both had a job and were happy. When they finally had raised enough money they brought a ticket to Australia. Before they left, they decided to have a picnic, just the two of them, on a grassy hill watching the sunset. Around the middle of the picnic, Natalie collapsed. Later on, they found out she had lung cancer and that it would be very dangerous for her to be anywhere but in the hospital. The hospital bills were not cheap and Alex had to sell one of the tickets to have enough money to pay off the hospital bills. Half a year later Natalie died.
