You woke up with your hands bound tightly behind your back. It took you a few minutes to fully come around but when you did it all came flooding back. "Have a nice sleep?" Jonathan's voice sounded close, but you couldn't see him. "When I get free I'm going to tear that pretty head from your body and shove it so far up your ass that . . ." "No need for bad language now." You knew he was patronising you. "Let me go!" You screamed and kicked out with your legs. You felt our foot connect with something hard and you had to suppress a cry of pain. "Now that wasn't very nice." Jonathan practically growled. You kicked out again but there was a sudden pressure on our legs. "I will break your legs. So I suggest you stop it." It wasn't a threat it was a promise. You went still an the pressure released. "What do you want?" You asked, trying your hardest to speak rationally to him. "I already told you that. I want you." "Well, sorry to disappoint, but I don't want you."Even though you couldn't see him, you could feel his presence just to the left of you head. He moved so quietly that without your shadowhunter instincts, you wouldn't have had a clue were he was.
"Well, I'll have to change your mind." His voice seemed gentle , for a brief moment. Then you heard a door open and saw the slightest bit of light before it closed again. He was gone and you were alone in the dark room. Instead of fighting, you lay there silently. Thinking of any way that you would be able to escape. "Jonathan!" You shouted before you realised that he probably wouldn't answer to that name. "Sebastian!" You shouted instead. "Yes?" He asked from outside the door." Can I please have some light? And would you be able to tell me what time it is." All of a sudden, there was a bright light in the room, blinding you temporarily. "It's just past midnight. Now be quiet" He snapped. You reluctantly agreed and lay there silently on the floor. Now that there was light in the room, could see it was empty except for you. There wasn't a single piece of furniture. Even though you don't intend to, you managed to fall asleep on the uncomfortable wooden floor. The next day, you were rudely awoken as a man you didn't recognise went into the room. They grabbed you and dragged you to you feet before pulling you along by the restraints on your hands. You lashed out, trying to get free but when your attempts proved futile you screamed. For a moment nothing happened, but then a sword appeared at your neck. The mans head rolled off his shoulders and his now limp body dropped to the floor. Your mouth dropped open in surprise but you didn't dare move and then you felt him remove the blade. Releasing a breath you hadn't realised you had been holding , you looked down at the now lifeless body. "Now let me make this clear. Alyssa is not to be harmed or so much as touch under any circumstances, without my express permission. Do I make myself clear?" Silence. "I said, do I make myself clear!" He shouted. there was a quick reply of 'yes sir' and then Jonathan slung you over his shoulder. You were in too much shock to fight against him and when he dumped you on a soft bed, you just say there. Reaching behind you, Jonathan released the bonds on your hands, allowing you your freedom. "You can run, if you'd like. But know that I'll only find you and bring you back."He turned his back on you and strode to the door. "Thank you . . .' You whispered. He stopped in his tracks and glanced over his shoulder at you. "What was that?" He asked. "Thank you. For helping me." You said louder. there was a slight rise and fall of his shoulders a s he shrugged.
