Coffee? Coffee!

POV. Jaemin

Another Day in this lovely Café.

My job as a Barista here fits me so well. Together with my Coworkers is it really fun to work here and I can always be near this great coffee smell. I am so addicted to coffee that I can't even live without the smell anymore. Okay, that was just a bit too overdramatic but really I love it to smell coffee all day.

"Jaemin Hyung, stop dreaming about coffee and make the next order ready!" ordered my Manager Chenle. Chenle is one of my dearest friends who is younger than me but he is my Manager because his Father owns the Café. I don't have a problem with that because without him I wouldn't have the option to work as a Barista. Most of the time he doesn't even work and just sits next to me and we talk about the weirdest things.

"Jaemin-ah, is the Coffee ready? The Customer is waiting" asked Renjun he is one of the waiters and also a good friend of mine. "Yes, the coffee is ready" as I said this I gave him the cup of coffee. Renjun is really weird as a waiter because he always urges the people to leave but our other waiter Haechan also does that. So either it doesn't bother the customers or they just haven't been fired because they are so good friends with Chenle. I really think it's the second option.

But now I should really keep working otherwise my Barista Coworker Jeno is gonna be really mad at me and that is the last thing I want. When he smiles he looks so much better. Okay, he always looks handsome. It doesn't matter if he is smiling or not. My only problem with him is that I have a huge crush on him BUT he is not gay...

We would be a really cute couple but sadly that is never gonna happen. The only thing I can do is look at him and daydream about how cute we would look together. "-na... Nana" I woke up from my daydream as I heard my nickname from a perfect voice immediately I knew who called me "Yes, Nono?" I answered him. "It's break time for us and I wanted to ask you if you like to go and eat ice cream with me?" he asks me slightly shy. That wondered me since when is Nono like that when he talks to me. WAIT did he ask me to go eat ice cream with him and I still didn't answer him?? "I would love to eat ice cream with you," I said a bit too fast so it sounded like gibberish but luckily Nono understand me and took my hand to bring me out of the Café.

We walked through the shopping mile in which our Café is to find a nice ice cream shop. Since the weather is really good many people are here right now. So I watched what kind of people walk past me. I think I watched at some way too long so that I got a few strange looks from them but I don't care. "Nana do you want to go there?" Nono asked me and pointed at an ice cream shop that looked really good "Yess that shop looks really fancy". So we sat down at one of the tables. Only now I noticed that I have been holding hands all the time with Jeno. OMG! I hold hands with Jeno for 10 minutes and he didn't even stop it. That was the best 10 minutes of my day.

"Is everything okay, Jaemin?" he suddenly asked. "Yes, why?". "You just sat there with the brightest smile ever and we don't even have eaten ice cream" he slightly laughed as he said it. Oh damn, he noticed now I need a good excuse. "Oh yeah, I was just so happy that we now can eat ice cream" my undertone as I said it sounded more like a question. I hope he just believes me. He just nodded and took one of the ice cream cards. Puh, that was lucky. I also took one of the cards but with that handsome man in front of me, I couldn't concentrate on the card so I just stare at him. As soon as he put the card down I look really fast in my card and felt that I was blushing right now. Luckily the waiter came and asks what kind of ice cream we want so we told him and he went to prepare our order.

In the meantime, Jeno and I talked about a lot of things. Actually only I talked then Jeno was really silent today. The waiter came back with our order and we began to eat. "Jeno is everything alright you are so silent today?" I asked him straightforwardly. "Uhm, to be honest, I need to talk to you" he answered nervously. "Really, about what?" I wondered. "Can we go to a place where it is more silent?" he asked me. "Sure" so we took our ice cream and went to a nearby river and sat on the bank.

"Jaemin, I am really nervous to tell you that but I just need to. I hope I don't ruin our friendship with my following words but I want to tell you those. We've been friends and coworkers for a really long time now. Ever since I first saw you come into the café, my world has become a lot brighter. You just have such a fascinating and great charisma. Every time we work together, you make my day better. I had to admit to myself a few weeks ago that I had a crush on you and in the last few days, I realized that this is much more. Jaemin, I really like you!"

WOW. Did my crush really just told me that he likes me?? With a really cute love confession. That is the best thing that could've happened today!

"OMG, Nono that is awesome" he looked at me with an undefined look. "I also really like you, Nono. I thought I needed to die alone because I could have never imagined that you are also gay" I overreacted a bit but who cares. He smiled at me. omo how cute he is.

"So do you wanna date me?" he asked really sweetly. "YES" I screamed and hugged him.

"What now?" I asked him.

"Coffee?" "Coffee!"

As I saw the video from the NCT Dream Café and I immediately had the idea to write this Oneshot so here it is :D
