Luna and Nina help Lola with her homework because Lola is behind on Blake South College's homework. Lola struggles with reading now. She does math homework and history homework. "Do you understand this math problem?" Nina asked. "Yes. I understand now. I am happy I finished my Math and History homework. I will do Spanish Homework (English) later at home." Lola said. "That's good. Remember you were planning to tell me the truth." Luna asked. "Yes, I will tell you the truth," Lola said.

Matteo walked in her ankle boots but without crutches in the cafeteria. Luna, Nina, and Lola noticed Matteo had no crutches. "Matteo, where are your crutches?" Luna asked. Matteo sits in a chair. "In the locker room, I want to tell you what I learned about Lola," Matteo said. Lola, Luna, and Nina were confused. "What about me?" Lola asked. "I was overheard in the locker room by Camila and Emilia talking about you. I was planning to get my crutches." Matteo said. "What do they do now?" Nina asked.

"Oh well. I heard Camila say Lola still doesn't have a competition partner. She wants Lola out of the competition and is happy that Lola will not compete." Matteo said. "I can't believe it. Camila keeps telling me to quit the competition. But I don't want to quit this competition. This is my dream, like Luna." Lola said. "I can't believe that. Camila wants you to quit the competition. I am happy that you did not get much competition. But you have to find a partner soon," Luna said. "How much time is left?" Lola asked. Nina checked her watch. "10 minutes left to resign before the competition is closed," Nina said. "I can't believe that all of our competitors resigned soon after. I still can't find a partner." Lola said. "What are you waiting for? Let's go find your partner?" Matteo said.

Manuel is 17 years old and a junior at Blake South College. He has hazel eyes and brown hair. He wears a green hoodie and a denim jacket. Manuel walks into the cafeteria, looking for Luna. He found Luna, Matteo, Nina, and Lola in the restaurant. "Hey, I'm Manuel. I will skate with Lola as her competition partner for a while. If the resignation has not been closed yet," Manuel said. Lola, Luna, Nina, and Matteo are shaken that Manuel wants to partner with Lola. "Resignation is not closed yet. The resignation will be closed in 15 minutes. You can resign now." Luna said. Lola is excited. "Ok, if Lola is okay with me as her partner," Manuel said. "Yes, I would like you to be my partner. I will be happy," Lola said. "That is so great. I will resign right now." Manuel said. "I will meet you at the rink. I want to talk with Matteo, Luna, and Nina for a while." Lola said. "Sounds so great," Manuel said.
Manuel walked away from them. He is signing up for a competition. Lola is excited. "I can't believe I competed with Manuel," Lola said. "I am happy too. That you are still in the competition and have a partner now. But you still lack your skates yet." Luna said. "Ugh... My skating package keeps delaying." Lola said. "This sounds so serious. Because everyone already has their skates, but you never get your skates. You still wear your metal skates and borrow from Jam&Roller Skate." Luna said. "I know. I still borrow from Jam&Roller Skating." Lola said. "But did you get any tracking number for your upgraded skate?" Nina asked. "I asked my stepsisters and my stepmom about the tracking number. They never gave me any tracking number for my newly purchased skate." Lola said. "I guess. We will have to talk with Camila." Matteo said.

Camila walked into the cafeteria. Luna, Lola, Nina, and Matteo noticed Camila entering the cafeteria. "Camila, come here," Luna called. Camila heard her name and saw Luna, Lola, Nina, and Matteo sitting around the table. "Yes, Luna. What do you need from me?" Camila asked. "After almost three weeks, Lola was still waiting for her upgraded skates to arrive. But you already have your upgraded skates. But you and Lola ordered on the same day? Since Lola will compete." Luna said. "Hmm... Well, we ordered the same day. I don't understand why Lola's skating is delayed. Who is her partner?" Camila asked. "My partner is Manuel," Lola said. "This is so strange because they ordered on the same day. We must wait for Lola's upgraded skate to arrive." Luna said.
