"Jasmine are you ready", My daddy said peaking around my door.

"Yeah lemme just finish my hair"

"Ok", He shut the door and sat on my bed.

Today was Graduation day. I'm excited to get the fuck outta that school and start college.

"I'm so proud of you baby. You've came a long way", My daddy got up kissing me on my head.

"Thank you", I chuckled.

"Do you know where you're going", He asked.

"Uhh either California or Atlanta", I said finishing my hair.

"Big moves I see"

"You already know. Big steppa", I fixed my nonexistent muscles.

"Alright well you need to hurry the ceremony starts in a few hours. He need to head out to my mommas house", He said leaving my room.

He wants the whole family to see me before graduation, since the seats were limited.

At Gma's house

"JASSSMINNE" My little cousin ran up to me.

"Hey peanut", I hugged him.

"You got any games?", He asked pointing to my phone.

Damn.

"Dang here! And don't run my battery down", I handed him my phone. He fell while running up the stairs.

"You aint getting that back", My grandma said.

I love my granny.

"Hey granny", I said embracing her into a hug.

"How granny's baby doing", She pulled away.

"I've been good", I smiled.

I haven't seen my grandma in a while. I missed her so much.

"Well that's good. You needa start telling yo bald headed ass daddy to bring you to see me more", She walked to the back yard.

We followed her, "Dang momma I can't get a hey", My daddy said.

"Hell nah", She opened the sliding door.

"What girl?! I'm grown"

"OH LOOK! Jasmine's here", My uncle pointed.

"Dammit James, what I say about pointing", My grandma looked over to him.

"Hey Jasmine"

"Hey girl"

I hugged the family members that I knew. Haven't seen them in a while.
