Fluke - The Truth

"I want to cancel the wedding, Fluke"

Fluke is shock hearing those words from Ohm. The latter said that they need to talk. Looking for a sign that his joking, Fluke bit his lips.

"Why, P'Ohm?", Fluke stutter when he said those words.

"Don't make it hard for us, Fluke. I just don't feel like it. Let's break up", Ohm avoiding eyes for a minute before looking at his eyes directly.

Fluke notice something on his eyes so he nodded, slowly remove his ring with tears on his eyes he reply, "Okay".

Ohm look at the ring, he didn't pick it up instead he stand and leave Fluke's house.

After two days, he saw the familiar car near the restaurant. On the first day after Ohm said those words, Fluke disn't go out of his room. He cry so much.

Now, he is standing in front of Ohm's house. He knocks but there is no one answering so he use the spare key that he had. Looking around, he go to the kitchen and cook some meals. He is almost done when Ohm and his mother come home.

"Ohm! You need to do the operation", Ohm's mom pleads.

"What operation?", Fluke show himself from the kitchen.

"Fluke!? What are you doing here?", Ohm eyes widen. Panic is written on his face. Ohm's mom suddenly become quiet.

"P'OHM! WHAT OPERATION!?", Fluke shouts.

"It's none of your business. We're done, so I don't need to explain to you", Ohm said coldly.

"Is that the reason why you want to cancel our wedding? Why you want to break up with me, P'Ohm?", Fluke tears starting to fall. Ohm avert his eyes.

Fluke step back and grab the knife that he used to cook. Pointed it on his neck, "I told you, you need to bring me with you".

"FLUKE!!", the frantic shout of Ohm's mom make Ohm look at him.

"Are crazy Fluke Natouch? Stop acting!", Ohm angrily shouts at him.

Fluke smile and slowly pierce the knife on his neck, he can feel the pain and liquid on his neck.

"NO! STOP! STOP! NO! LOVE, please!", Ohm's shout stop him.

"Tell me the truth, P'Ohm. We've been together almost all our life, I know you will not purposely hurt me for no reason", Fluke said.

"Ohm inherit his father's illness. We already found a donor but the chances of the operation is 50-50", Ohm's mom said.

"You will do the operation, P'Ohm!", Fluke glared but tears falling.

"Didn't you hear!? It's a 50-50 chances", Ohm shout. Tears are also falling.

"So what? You still have a chance to live. Are you going to leave me behind without trying to fight? Are you okay with me with someone else, someone else kissing or making love to me?", Fluke shouts back.

"NO, I HATE IT! Breaking up with you and thinking about you in the arms of someone else already killing me. I want to be by your side always to kiss you, to hug you anytime. I want to go different places with you, I want see you walk the aisle and I badly want to grow old with you. I love you so much but Fluke -", Ohm look at him. He knows how hard it is for the older but he need to push him to save him.

"Then, you'll do the operation!", Fluke pleads.

Ohm shake his head, "I don't want to give you hope and then, leave you behind Fluke".
