Avengers

May's Day

May stool about 5'3. She had jet black hair with one white strand due to her birth mark. Emerald green eyes and a skinny figure but she had filled out very much. She wasn't model quality according to everyone but she didn't care. May was an assistant to the ceo of a large company that mass produced action figures. The newest ones were a group called the avengers. May didn't have much experience with them but apparently the ceo did. All May knew was that they had saved the world a few times but that was from the news.

One summer day the ceo had an outburst and fired most of his staff including May. May quietly packed up her things and started her walk home. She took a different route this time that took her right past Stark tower. May tripped on the sidewalk dropping all of her belongings. Soon a 6foot something man started to help her pick up her belongings that weren't broken.
"I'm so clumsy." May said slicing her hand on a broken piece of glass.
"Oh no you're bleeding." The man said grabbing Mays hand.
"It's fine really." She said getting up with him still holding her hand.
"No it's deep. Please come, let me bandage your hand and then you can be on your merry way." The man said concerned.
May allowed the man to guide her into the nearby building while he carried her things. The building was grand and May was flabbergasted. She followed the man to an elevator and they entered to go up.
"Oh I'm sorry I'm so forgetful." The man said turning to May. "I'm Tony Stark." He said removing his glasses.
May blushed. She was in front of the infamous Tony Stark. "I'm May. May Green." She said smiling.
"Well Miss Green seems like you've gotten yourself in quite a pickle today." Tony said leading May out of the elevator and sitting her next to a sink where he washed Mays hand. "What brings you this way, Miss Green?"
"Oh, I got fired and I was on my way home but I decided to go a different way home. Shows what I know." She laughs nervously.
"What did you do?" Tony asked wrapping her hand up.
"I was an assistant to the ceo of this big toy company down the street. We mass produced action figures."
"Well Miss Green you're in luck today. I was looking for an assistant to help me around this building. Especially when my coworkers come over. The position is yours if you're interested."
"Umm." May thought about it.
"Tell you what. Show up 8am tomorrow if you want the job if not it's ok." Tony said helping May take her stuff to the elevator. "Would you like a ride home?"
"No it's not that far I'll be ok." May said nervously.
May went down the elevator and exited Stark tower.
"Why would Mr Stark offer me a job? Did I make a good first impression? Who are his coworkers? Mr Stark looks familiar." Mays mind wandered all night.  And before she knew it she was up and getting ready for the day. Will she take Mr Starks offer?
