The warm air from outside swept in with every time the door was opened.  The glasses of butterbeer balanced on the tray I was holding as I walked over to the couple in the corner booth.  I set their glasses down and walked away after giving them a quick smile.  As I walked back to the bar, I jumped over the creaky floorboard that we hadn’t yet gotten around to fixing.

“Hey, ballerina.  Why don’t you stop leaping about and get over here.  I need you to serve the bar for me,” Tom said jokingly.  I smiled, took the half apron that covers me from my hips to my knees off, placed it on the hook next to the entrance of the bar, and took the rag from Tom.  I started wiping down the counter when another gust of warm wind burst through the doors and laughter filled the room.  I turned to see who walked through the door and the first thing I saw was a bright red blur.  Once my eyes got used to how bright it was outside, I saw two identical boys with bright red hair that looked to be about thirteen years old.  I smiled and thought to myself, “Another pair of twins.”  One of the two boys stopped and pointed to my subtly.  “Great.”  They walked over and sat at the barstools right in front of me.

“Aren’t you two too young to be sitting at a bar?” I asked as I continued wiping down the counter in front of us.

Aren’t you a little young to be a bartender?” The one on the left asked.  I threw the rag over my shoulder.

“True.  So, what brings you to the Leaky Cauldron?”  I asked, resting my elbows on the counter, my chin in my hands.  The one on the right smiled and answered.

“The fact that we’re thirsty.” I smiled and straightened up.

“Well then, what’ll it be, boys?”

“Two butterbeers, please,” they said in unison.  I smiled, turned around, and began preparing their drinks.

“So, what’s your name?” The one on the right asked.  I turned by head slightly towards him.

“Ronnie.  Ronnie Black.”  I grabbed the glasses from under the bar and poured the drink.  When I handed the drink to them, I noticed the one on the left was staring at me.  I blushed slightly and looked at the counter.

“We’re Fred and George Weasley,” The one on the right said.  “I’m Fred and this is George.”  He gestured at his twin sitting next to him.  George’s face turned noticeably pinker as Fred smiled and nudged him in the side with his elbow.  I blushed a deep shade of red.  I couldn’t deny that I thought George was very handsome, but most likely he doesn’t like me back.  We just discussed pranks after that.  They were surprised to know that I was “a master,” as I called myself, but they then decided to argue that they were the true masters. That’s when Tom came out.

"Ronnie, your shift’s done.  Feel free to enjoy the rest of the day.” He smiled at me and the twins, then left.

“Come hang with us.  We’ll show you the time of your life,” Fred said as both him and George grabbed by wrists and pulled me out of the old pub.  I just laughed and tried not to get trampled as they pulled me through the crowded street.  We ended up at a dead end in an alleyway.

“Wha…?” I started, but George shushed me.  Fred started mumbling and the wall in front of us disappeared.  In its place, a large field was there.  “Cool…” Was the only thing I could get out.  I walked right into the field and I heard the wall close up behind us.  Then, the thing I expected the least happened.  One of the twins picked me up and started running.  I screamed in shock and realized it was George.  As I yelled for George to put me down, I saw Fred pointing to something.

“All right.  If you want to get down, down you’ll go.”  That was the last thing I heard before being chucked into a giant lake.  As the water wrapped around me, I began to think to myself, “I’m so getting them back for this.”  I resurfaced and noticed the twins rolling on the ground, laughing.  I smiled and stood up.  I wrinkled my face and changed my hair a deep purple and my eyes a bright red.  They both stopped laughing and stared at me in disbelief.
