A/n:this is based on Olivia Rodrigo's song Deja vu but with a little change, the one who's getting Deja vu are you not chase.

Chase was on the conductor seat and you on the passenger seat. Have you ever run away with your lover? Have you ever forget about all your problems by eating an ice cream seeing the beach?

What a dream being with your life partner, here, Malibu.
Y/n and Chase's favorite ice cream shop was Andre's, they were used to go there so often, more like when the days turn bad, and Andrew, the owner of the ice cream shop become his friend in matter of some visits, he always served a strawberry ice cream always a spoon for two, the love dancing in every bite.

The last bite, and finally the check. Going outside found out the night just fell, cold air but denim jacket for you and him, the height difference make her jacket smaller than his, and as a proof of love, they traded them, Chase looked so cute in that small jacket, seen so adjusted to him.

Yeah, it was kinda different now, doing it by yourself, being alive enough to remake moments alone but hurt enough to feel died.

It was strange being the one who drive your car; but it wasn't your day, at the morning you made some coffee ,heading the counter you spilled on your white skirt not mentioned one of your favorites skirts; for that bad start of day you came late to work and got call out by the annoying guy,your boss.

At the lunch time, all the workers went to the staff room ,one of your coworkers shared his laptop screen to everyone else in there, not interested in it you didn't turned your head to until you heard a line form you favorite show, you knew it, you've watched the show almost 6 times, Glee.
Oh man how you loved that show, loved, LO-VED.
'Cuz now it only call memories with that lovely boy...

Over and over again, you can't just get enough of that show, every episode transport you to another place or a loss feeling between him and you, like maybe that was the episode you saw after the fourth date or  after doing it for the first time, but every single one had something special

And yeah, there's is a episode for your broke up, every time the episode comes to the tv you feel your soul burn and the sadness makes a meeting with the fury in your brain; it was horrible not being with him, you missed his touch and the shape of his body around you ; but sitting there you actually felt him with you, you felt the presence and his essence by your side.

If this a dream please don't wake me up, if this is a deja vu let me live it a little bit more.

After the bad day of work, you put yourself on the car heading Malibu like used to, parked the car on Andrews plot and made your way to the used table, two chairs one person now, even Andrew knew about the break up, he even was sad about it.

When Andrew placed the ice cream on the table with just a spoon like always, your mind got blurry as your eyes infested with tears, this time it was a spoon for one, and again you felt the chase's presence, you felt his lips ghosting yours every time you tasted the ice cream.

if this craziness don't heal me, this my only way to feel him again

Once you finished it you went out to walk and distract yourself with the beauty sight of the beach, a few meters away from the ice cream shop were a group of guys and a girl singing to entertain people there, you came closer to them and the young girl was starting his presentation, the guys were playing the instruments and checking the sound for her;then something hit all your heart, soul and mind, she started singing "uptown girl", your breathe was heavy and your hands shaking.One more time memories dance in your vision and your brain

A night before he dropped his first song you and him were enjoying each other at your department, it was a rainy night so both of you bought snacks and bring movies for pass the night, you watched movies, eat, cuddle, it was a really important moment for the relationship, he was making a big step from his career and you were there to support him and clap for his achievements, later that night you started playing songs and "uptown girl" came up, it wasn't special at all at that moment, you've heard a few times before so you knew it but it had nothing to be with you and chase;not until that night, chase and you were singing together, it was magical around of you, just sparks of love and bliss, between the chorus and the verse he closed the little gap between you and him and placed his hands on your waist giving it a little squeeze, looking in the eyes of each other it was just so intimate, you'd like it to last longer but he crashed his lips with you and whisper "I love you" in the kiss, at that moment you knew you've fallen hard in love.

Living on the past  wasn't healthy , you knew it, but it was to hard to move on, maybe his blue ocean eyes trapped you, or his laugh, might be the way he smiled, everything was a constantly deja vu when it comes to Chase.
You finally made your way to your car to drive back to Los Angeles, walking there your eyes caught the body of a tall boys, that lovely boy; your heart was pounding hard on your chest it must be love. It must be anxiety.

But to he wasn't alone, he was with a girl, actually you couldn't see her face, sure she is beautiful, they were enter to the ice cream shop, you felt paralyzed, he not only take her to your ice cream shop and sit in the same table but also he treated his jacket with her,

does he was reusing everything?
There you felt the real deja vu, you even could see the pov of the girl because of you already were there ,exactly the same shit. That was the real deja vu, and you hated it.
