Season 0 Episode 2 - Settling In

Dude, who is in the school right now? I sure hope nothing bad happens! It's cool, we know that dependable and reliable Kirito will deal with it. Moving on, I know that the beginning of a season 0 might feel slow at first like "Deku's Harem Academia" but I genuinely like writing the romance between Kirito and Asuna. It will pick up and when it does it will pick up pretty fast so just hold onto your hats and wait. Get a drink, get a snack, get loose, and just enjoy this story!

Wait a minute, is there supposed to be someone walking around at school right now?

Kazuto saw a figure walking around in the outside hallways of the school. It was a pale and skinny man who was just walking around back and forth between going into a room. He wasn't sure if his eyes were playing tricks on him so he whispered to Asuna to try to confirm what he saw with his eyes.

(Kazuto) "Yo, Asuna? Do you see someone on campus right now?"

(Asuna) "Hmm, I don't think so. Where did you see it?"

(Kazuto) "Right over there. I thought I saw someone walk into that door between the lockers right there."

(Asuna) "Well, let's wait a few minutes then. If there is someone there, then they'll come out eventually. For now, we'll just stay hidden in the car until they come out."

Both the boy and girl stayed down and occasionally peeked up through the window to see if they could catch someone on campus. After a few more moments, they noticed a pale figure that had glasses on coming out of the room that Kazuto was pointing at earlier. Then Asuna started whispering to Kazuto with a hushed tone in her voice. 

(Asuna) "Yeah, you were right Kirito-kun! There is some random person just walking around there."

(Kazuto) "Hmm, okay I have a plan for what we should do."

(Asuna) "What do you mean by a plan? We are not going to do anything honey."

(Kazuto) "Why not? If it's a thief or something, wouldn't it be better if we caught him so that we won't have to worry about it in the future?"

(Asuna) "No, either we're going to get hurt or we're going to have accused an innocent person. What will you do if he was just a custodian or a teacher that stayed late?"

(Kazuto) "Haha, don't worry Asuna, I do have a plan after all. We're going to walk in there and say that we were transferring in tomorrow so we wanted to look around. And since we happen to see a teacher or staff member here, we thought that we could come in. We could look kinda dumb at first but we will live."

(Asuna) "Hmmph, fine. I'm only doing this because I love you okay!"

(Kazuto) "I get it, I get it."

Kazuto lovingly waved off Asuna's concerns before pecking her on the cheeks real quickly. Her face flushed in a dark hue as she shook her head. They both got their equipment ready and put it on to look as harmless as possible, like cosplay.

They went around to the front of the school to walk in through the doors that were unlocked, presumably due to a staff member being on campus. As they approached where the person they previously saw was, they slowed down to walk as to not startle anyone by accident. They stopped right at the corner of the building as they realized that the person they were looking for was right around the corner.

(???) "Hummfff!"

The figure was inhaling really loudly and was making very uncomfortable sounds that would weird any normal person in their situation out. Kazuto held Asuna's hand and restricted her back so that only he would peak around the corner to see what was going on.
