It was because of her that Meliodas gained emotions.the two were together for a month before Elizabeth's mom told her that her dad found out that she existed and wanted to meet her
Elizabeth and Meliodas said goodbye to each other not before taking pictures and Meliodas giving her a blue orb earring
Since that day,a promise was made and the two never saw each other again till 10 years later
