Chapter 17 - Im Strong

Elizabeth's Pov

I love this darkness I'm seeing.I'm dead.I don't have to go through the pain anymore

At least thats what I thought till I saw this light and heard someone's voice calling my name but I couldn't hear it perfectly

Meliodas' Pov

I went to Elizabeth's place to check on her but Veronica said that Elizabeth wasn't here

Thats when my phone rang.I didnt look at the caller ID and just answered but it was my mom who was crying

"Mom,why are you crying?" I asked

"Meliodas....its Elizabeth.please come quick!" She sobbed and cried even harder

This alerted me immediately.I hung up,left the house and got in my car.I drove it as fast as I could

I got to the mansion in a minute and got out and bursted through the double front doors

I heard crying from upstairs so I ran upstairs and my mom was standing in front of the bathroom

"Mom?" I said

"Its Elizabeth....she locked the bathroom and she's not answering m-" she cut herself off by looking at the floor

I looked at the floor and there was blood leaking under the door.I felt my heart skip a beat when I saw it

I told my mom to stand aside so I could break down the door.I broke it down in a few seconds and saw a sight I never wanted to see...

Elizabeth....was laying on the floor covered in blood and a pocket knife was laying next to her

My heart started beating really fast and I felt tears run down my cheeks.
my mom gasped and she cried even harder

I heard running footsteps and they stopped and gasped

"Elizabeth...." Diane said in a broken voice

I slowly walked in the bathroom.I didnt care if I was stepping in blood.I can't let my childhood friend die

I got down and pulled Elizabeth's body into my arms and hugged her like I was gonna lose her

"Elizabeth....please don't leave me" I said in a broken voice

"Elizabeth....you can't leave me like this! Please just come back to me! I can't live without you" I pleaded

"Elizabeth....I love you.please don't leave me!" I cried out
(I almost cried while writing this)

Elizabeth's Pov

I kept hearing my name but I still couldn't make out who it was till it got louder

It was Meliodas' voice.I wanna die but he wants me to live.but if I die,I won't have Meliodas in my life

The light got brighter and thats when I opened my eyes slowly...

Meliodas' Pov

I can't believe she committed suicide.
why would she do something like this?

Her body started glowing and her wrists were healed and the blood disappeared and the blood that was on me disappeared as well?!

Her eyes opened slowly and I was so happy.everyone behind me gasped but I didn't care.I'm just glad my childhood friend is alive

"Meliodas..." She said in a weak voice

I let more tears run down my cheeks while I smiled at Elizabeth.I stared into her eyes and then look at lips then back at her eyes
