Yeonjun nearly choked on his saliva with a slight cough, hearing those words slip his friend's mouth. "Wh-What?" He asked, making sure he heard correctly as his eyes widened and fluttered with uncertainty.

"A full lifetime supply of money, Hyung. For all five of us." Taehyun said again as he was still sober, his gaze unwavering at Yeonjun as he put his hands on the table.

Yeonjun gulped hard and blinked a couple of times before looking at the desk and Teahyun's hands for answers. "Y-You're serious?" He asked once more, still not believing his friend and the info that he just received. All of it is still trying to process through his head.

"Dead serious." The younger male responded, not moving an inch after speaking, keeping his dark eyes locked on his hyung. "Kai will be able to go to a real college, and we can open that café that Soobin Hyung really wanted to do. And you and Beomgyu can stop using your bodies."

Yeonjun had to stop and think as he leaned back in his chair. His arms crossed over his chest before looking back at Taehyun with thought. A sigh escaped his lips before looking back at his hands; as he did, he closed his eyes for a second while taking back a deep breath.

"And you're sure they can pay us?" Yeonjun asked to make sure they're not getting scammed by the unbelievable statement. They both knew what would happen to a person who fucked them over like this, mainly if it was a dangerous job that would risk their lives or put them in grave danger.

Taehyun knew the older would ask this question and quickly turned to dig into his black work bag, pulling a slim but structured file out. "Here." The younger slowly gave Yeonjun the solid folder that seemed to have gold accents on the corners and an odd symbol on the front that resembled the gold trim with a flattering compliment. The small mark on the folder seemed familiar to the male as he tried to think of where he had seen it.

"This symbol..." Yeonjun pulled the folder close as he studied it, then soon recognized the symbol from paganism. It was a thin 'X' with a circle on top; however, two lines shouldn't be below it. "Is... Is this a new word?" Yeonjun asked himself genuinely as he tilted his head. He studied it, noting the extra lines that made an inverted cross from the center of the 'X' shown.

"No... It's from Hongjoong." Taehyun clarified. "Or better known as the Pirate Kings..." Taehyun then sat back in his chair as he put his lips into a pout. "Or your ex." He then smirked as his voice was slightly sarcastic.

Yeonjun stiffened, his eyes going wide, and choked on his saliva. He quickly looked at the younger in shock. Sure, Yeonjun and Hongjoong used to be a thing for a long time, around two to three years, but the two separated a while ago. It was on good terms due to Yeonjun's role on the team and Hongjoong being too busy with his leadership role. Hongjoong was surprisingly supportive of Yeonjun, primarily due to him witnessing Yeonjun in action and being very attracted to it, making any male fall head over heels for the blonde. But also because Yeonjun managed to steal from him when no one else could.

"He's just my friend now. Aish, are you trying to kill me here?" He pointed out as he was annoyed and meant that he couldn't keep having these sudden surprises slip from his friend's lips.

"Sorry, Hyung. That's all I have to say." Taehyun replied as Yeonjun cleared his throat, picking up the black folder and opening it.

Once Yeonjun opened it, he noticed the lack of info on their target or even targets and instructions. It made the older male become a bit on guard as he looked at Hongjoong's signature and a dripping blood stain with his thumbprint embedded in it. It was a signature to all the higher-ups of the Pirate Thieves to signifying their loyalty and secrecy. The only few bits of information on the paper sheet with the signature were that they would talk about it over a secured video call, using a particular laptop to be given to them after the request is accepted. Besides that, they would need to take a year off any work they currently had.
