Denki x reader.
You had been hiding this for a while even from your now boyfriend but you were nervous.
You didn't know how he would react you had told your parents once and they got less than a little happy, but your older brother Tyler supported you all the way.
You were sitting with denki on his bed watching cars when you looked over at denki so content you didn't want to ruin this moment with your coming out to him.
"Hey denki" you muttered.
"hmmm?" he hummed a reply.
"I need to talk to you..." you muttered.
Denki heard the serious tone in your voice and paused the movie and looked at you "what's up babe?" he asked.
You squirmed out of his arms and sat criss cross across from him.
"Did something happen babe?" he asked tilting his head.
You shook your head as you tried to think of a way to say this to him without being awkward.
As you went to open your mouth he hugged you tightly, "No matter what it is, I will love you unconditionally " You felt tears well up in your eyes as you just began to cry you couldn't help yourself at this point.
He only rubbed your backed with his hand while you cried into his shoulder.
After you calmed down a bit you pulled away from the hug taking deep breaths "are you ready to tell me baby?" he asked softly.
You nodded giving a tiny frown.
"I-I don't feel like myself in my own skin" you said looking away.
Denki stared at you a little confused.
"I feel more (girl or boy) than I do myself" you said looking down at your now twitching hands.
Denki finally got a grasp of what you were saying and gave a tiny smile "Hun.." you looked up seriously worried he might not be happy with you.
"I love you for who you are, he, her, they, I doesn't matter to me" he said softly.
You began to cry a bit as you nodded.
"and hun if you want me to refer to you as a certain gender let me know so I don't mess it up" he said giving a goofy smile.
You nodded as you hugged him tightly.
"Thank you denki...."
"no problem hun"
