'How to die in a horror movie' CHAPTER FIVE:

"At least it seems like we have a way home now." Zack pointed out when him and everybody else had a good look at the map on Kendall's phone.

But Kendall remained sceptical about all this; looking up at Zack amd frowning at this: "And how do you know that it won't be a trap or anything? I don't trust that weird guy."

"Would you rather just stand here and wait until you die?" Chealsea looked up at Kendall then; frowning herself. "He did say you can't escape your fate."

"True..." Kendall said and then hummed in thought as he put a hand to his chin and looked down a little bit: "Meaning that I don't have a choice, do I?"

"I guess not."

"Well then we might as well just head off towards where the map wants us to go. It looks like it's my house." Kendall said, and everybody agreed with him and then followed him towards his house...

...At his house then, the map dissappeared back onto his death messenge on Facebook, and it was still telling him to charge his phone or else he will die. Right now it was at 3%, so he had to hurry up. He didn't have long.

He turned to his friends: "I'll just pop in and out. I won't be long."

"Be safe." Zack said to him.

Kendall nodded with determination before he headed inside his house alone now.

Once inside; out of habbit, he closed the front door. It was dark inside but not pitch black. So he went pass the living room and kitchen and up the stairs and down the hallway to his room. His door room was open. He didn't remember that. But oh well. He remembered the lights being off.

He entered his room and in the dark searched for his charger phone case that he had as well as his actual charger; which wouldn't do so good without a plug. He found it and was about to place it on his phone when he suddenly heard his door creaking as it moved.

He gasped and turned around to see it slowly closing and behind the door he found...a zombie.

WTF?!

Kendall froze on the spot starring at the zombie (male) as it starred at him back.

He gulped.

Then the zombie started slowly moving towards him and Kendall tensed up. Shit! He looked around and found a few books. He grabbed one and lobbed it at the zombie's face. That didn't stop it, so he threw a few more. No luck.

Double shit!

"S...STAY AWAY, YOU FREAKIN' BELLEND!!" He yelled out in fear then. Yes, he was using Chealsea's phrase.

But yet the zombie was getting closer and closer to him; slowly, one step at a time.

Kendall looked around more on the spot. He had a few game and anime merchandises lying around, and hoped that he didn't have to use them as a last resort. But...he gotta do what a man's gotta do.

He picked one up and-

Suddenly from behind the zombie, he heard Chealsea cry out. Then a chair was whacked over the zombie's head; making it crumble unconsciously on the ground.

Chealsea then threw the chair down at it: "Now stay down!"

Kendall blinked in shock, before just realizing what happened, and yelled out at Chealsea: "M-MY MOTHER IS GONNA KILL ME!!"

"YOU'RE MOTHER ISN'T EVEN HERE!" Chealsea yelled back.

Then from behind, Derek and Zack could be seen peeking in.

"Guys..." Kendall was shocked.

"We couldn't just leave you in here alone with that threat." Chealsea told him gently then with a smile as she walked in now and Kendall dropped his merchandise on the floor and she grabbed his empty hand with both of hers.

Kendall blushed.

"Now let's charge you're phone." Chealsea said then as Derek and Zack followed her in then watching.

Kendall then slowly put his phone's charging case on his phone and then his phone blinked.

It began to charge and the screen went blank; causing him to smile in relief.
