TRUE TO HER word, Lavender met Sirius at 10 a.m. After an awkward exchange of 'You look beautiful' and 'Hello's', the two made their way towards the carriages.

It was silent for a while before Sirius spoke up. "So.. As the best prankster in the world I'm asking you-,"

"What do you mean best prankster in the world?" Lav cut him off with a smirk. "Max and I are obviously the best pranksters Hogwarts has ever seen."

Sirius scoffed. "I beg to differ."

Lavender narrowed her eyes at him in a playing way. "Wanna bet?"

Sirius smiled. "Okay so we dyed the hair of the Slytherin's red-,"

Lavender faked a yawn. "Boring."

He glared at her before continuing. "- then we replaced the gummy slugs from the Slug Club with real slugs and-,"

Lavender interrupted again. "Boring. We dyed the hair of every single professor. We blew up a toilet seat. We replaced the pillows of the Slytherin's with real snakes. We replaced everything in the Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin common room's in the colour of red. And yet we weren't caught as many times as you guys which proves my point. We're better than you."

Sirius blinked.

Not long after proving that Lavender was obviously the better prankster, they arrived at Hogsmeade.

Sirius opened the door to Honeydukes for Lavender to which she playfully bowed her head in a playful manner. They spent some money on sweets and went straight to the three Broomsticks.

After they sat down Lavender looked him in the eyes. "Would you rather be one of the Hogwarts paintings or on of the ghosts?"

He thought for a moment before he smirked. "I would look good as a painting, wouldn't I?"

Lavender laughed softly and murmured a small 'You would.' and hoped that he couldn't hear her. He could but he only replied with a small smile.

"Well, would you rather fight a basilisk or a dementor?" Sirius asked her.

She thought for a moment. "You can fight off the dementor with a Patronus Charm whereas you can't fight a Basilisk that easily so I'd go with the dementor. Would you rather snog Voldemort or have Flobberworms as fingers?"

They looked at each other for a moment before bursting into laughter.

"I refuse to answer that." he chocked out.

She calmed down a bit before smiling. "Okay then. What's your favourite place ever?"

A warm smile spread across his face. "At the Potter's. You can feel the love and the warmth. Mia always cooks soup or brings us Butterbeer when James or I am sad or when we're sick. Monty always plays quidditch with us and he makes the funniest jokes ever."

Lavender watched fondly as he rambled over the Potter's. He clears his throat after a while. "Uh- Who is the most fascinating person you've met."

"You." She blurted out before she could stop herself. Her eyes widened whereas Sirius had a stupid, goofy grin plastered on his face. "Oh, am I?"

She glared at him. "I just mean that you can be so rude and irresponsible at one moment and the next you're kind and serious - no puns - and respectful and-," She cleared her throat after she noticed she rambled. "Shut up."

Sirius smirked and held his hands up in surrender. "I didn't say anything."

She sighed. "But your stupid face did. Anyways, we should head back."

Thirty minutes later they were standing in front of the Girls Dormitories. They stared at each other before he cleared his throat. "So uhm- Did you have fun?"

"Yes. Thank you for today, Sirius." She smiled and turned to walk away. He watched as she suddenly halted and turned. She came up to him and kissed him. He stumbled back a bit because he did definitely not expect that. It took him a few seconds to process what was happening before kissing her back. He cupped her cheeks whereas her hands rested on his chest. She pulled back and smiled.

He grinned sheepishly. "Does that mean you like me back?"

She chuckled. "Yes, Sirius."

"I want you to say it." He says.

She rolled her eyes. "I, Lavender Evans, fancy you, Sirius Orion Black III."

He grinned and kissed her again. Let's say it was a day neither of them would forget.
