Date gone right

I am soooooo sorry I haven't updated. But here ya go!

As I hadn't expected, Chandler showed up, just as he had said. I didn't honestly think he would show up. I blush as I open the door.

I hear someone walking up from behind me and jumped. If it's mom, I am dead. "So this is the boy," I hear a deep voice say. I let out a sigh of relief.

"Dad, meet Chandler. I am going over to his place to watch movies."

My dad studies him a moment and then sighs. "You look like a good guy, but if you touch her at all," he gets up into his face, "Well, then better kiss your ass goodbye."

He changes back to his cheerful self. "Have a good time kiddos," and with that he walks away.

I take a deep breath and then smile, "sorry about that," I say to Chandler.

He smiles and chuckles. "He's just being a dad Cyndal."

I look at him a bit surprised , then smile back. "I guess you're right, huh?"

I see Chandler blush a bit. I look at him confused. "What?" I ask pushing him playfully as I walk out of the house, closing the front door behind me.

He looks away a bit, "promise not to laugh?"

I cross my arms and look at him curiously. I lean towards him a bit, "I promise."

He keeps his head turned mostly away but looks towards me slightly. He smiles a bit and sighs, covering his eyes with one hand. "Your smile is just so adorable."

I blush and stand up straight again. I look away, keeping one arm straight and grabbing it with my other hand. "Umm... Thank you," I mumble, not loud enough for him to hear me.

I hear him take a deep breath. He then turns and begins walking down the driveway, stopping and turning back towards me. "Are you coming?"

I snap back to reality and nod. I run to catch up with him. He smiles and begins to walk with me.

We arrive at Chandler's house after a short walk. He invites me in and his mother jumps to introduce herself.

"I'm Gina" she says excitedly.

I smile, she seemed happy. A polar opposite of my mom.

"I'm Cyndal. It's nice to meet you."

She smiles brightly at me, "That is a gorgeous name."

I giggle a bit, "thank you"

"Well anyways, I have got the entire living room set up for your movie day. I have popcorn and snacks, and probably any movie you could think up. You two have fun!" She says leading us to the living room and leaving us there.

"So, what movie do you want to watch?" Chandler asks me.

"Do you have love actually?" I ask

"Hmmm," chandler thinks a moment then goes through the movies on huge bookshelf. A few minutes later and he holds up a case. "This?"

My face lights up. "Yes!"

I grab the movie and look at it a moment as Chandler get up from the crouching position he ended up in.

He grabs it from me and begins to put the disk in, "I've actually never seen it."

I look at him in part dissapoinment and part surprise. "I can't believe you have never seen this movie. Its stupendous."

He laughs. "Okay, Okay. I am sorry but I am watching it now."

I smile, "why thank you. You won't regret it, I promise."

We both sit on the couch and after getting comfortable, pressing play on the movie at last.

I watch it happily. "Worse than the total agony of being in love?" I quote aloud.

I look over to see Chandler smiling at me. "You're so adorable."

I blush and turn away. "No I'm not."

Chandler pauses the movies and leans closer to me. The smell of his cologne hit me, making me blush more. "Yes, you are."

I turn my head to face him again, only to find his face close to mine. I blush even worse. I can see him blushing as well. Quickly, I turn away again.

Just then, my phone rings. 'Saved,' I think to myself. "I'll be back in a second, I have to take this."

I walk out into a nearby hall and answer. "Hello?"

"So, how is your date?"

"Hailey? How did you know?"

"Oh sweetie, daddy and I do still keep in contact. So tell me, tell me, tell me!"

"Its.... Good"

"Just good?"

"Yeah, I'll talk to you later though Kay?"

I quickly hang up and return to Chan.

"Sorry, it was my sister."

"Is she okay?" He asks me concerned.

"Yeah, she just wanted to check in," I say sitting back next to him.

He nods, "so shall we continue our movie?"

I nod in response.

4 movies later

Chandler looks at the time once we finish our last movie.

"Your mom will flip, you should probably get home."

I sigh and lay back putting legs across Chandler's. "Yeah, but I dont want to go back to that shit home"

"Cyndal, it's your home and your parents"

"Chandler, you don't understand what my mom puts me through. At this point, nothing could be worse. I am always in the wrong. I am always being yelled at, being pushed around. That house is hell and she the devil."

He sighs and rubs my leg then pats it. He stands and my legs fall onto the floor. He holds a hand out to me, the other placed formally behind his back. "Well, you look like a princess in need of saving."

I sit up. I took a moment to think about and finally take his hand, "perhaps you're right, but," I let go of his hand after using it to secure myself on my feet, "only the bravest of princes can save me from the mighty beast." I walk away slowly and then turn quickly. "For she is most definitely a formitable opponent."

Chandler move towards me with a small stride. "When it comes to you m'lady," he says, "no enemy will stand such a chance against the great prince of the Riggs family."

I take my hand back and turn slightly, placing both hands on my heart, bending slightly at the knees. "Whatever shall we do? The beast would be mighty, maybe even too great for you."

Chandler laughs and comes towards me, them swiftly picks me up bridal style. I squeal in response.

"We must run away then. We must run somewhere far, far away. Somewhere we will never be found," he says walking swiftly towards his front door.

I push my way put of his arms and cross my own. I look at him playfully yet questioningly. "We are going to run away? Ah man, you almost had me going that you were a brave, valiant knight come to save me from the nightmare I had fought so long to save myself from."

He stands in a mighty pose. "Well then," keeping his pose and he holds out a hand to me. "Shall we defeat the foul beast together then?"

I giggle, "we shall." I take his hand and we walk out the door.
