After she got word of our ingagement, Verlinda committed die. We only figured this out because she called and told Ryan and I to come back and get our stuff out of her house. I still had stuff there and some of the kids stuff was still there too. And of course Ryan still had stuff there. The kids and I had gotten all of our stuff and the kids were waiting in the car because there wasn't much left of Ryans stuff to get. We went into his old bedroom and saw Verlinda dangling like a piece of salami from the roof with a noose around her neck. We called the police and her funeral was held 2 weeks later.
