Chapter 1

Irene Bae P.O.V
Ever since my first book become bestseller, my agent Wendy send me to this cottage farm in the middle of nowhere, so I would just relax and write my sequel. But my death line is very near, so I pour myself a cup of coffee, sit at my desk and start to work. I take a sip of the warm coffee and I sigh, I can hear the storm raging outside. It got lonely sometimes to be here all by myself. I better hurry up and start typing on my laptop.
"I find inspiring in fragments of old news papers, but I have so many on the wall that I don't know where to start. News will help me to develop main character of this sequel" I said to myself.
I read the story of a serial killer and wonder how his childhood was, what brought him to this point. The picture of the kid attached to the story attracted my attention, a bunch of ideas come in to my mind and I can't wait to write them in my book.
"I should look for psychology book online before I continue" is said.
I hesitant for a while, I focus on my laptop screen when it suddenly gets dark.
"What" I said being a bit scared.
The light in my room start flickering until they go off.
"Did I get to save my precious work?ugh!" I groan in frustration. "Now, where did I put my candles...?"
After a second I finally found my candles, but I started hearing some steps and its getting closer. I heard the front door being Knocked and I freeze.
"Who would it be, the closest town is like a mile away. Nobody never visit me in the middle of the night"I mumbled to myself
With all my courage, I walk up to the front door and open it, I'm surprised to found a cute girl standing in front of my door, soaked in rain and shaking.
"Hi, I'm Seulgi" she said, smiling shyly at me. "Sorry, I don't want to be a bother but my car is being fix and I don't have anywhere else to stay in the meantime" she said.
"I'm Irene, are you okay and please come in" I said as I lead her to my house.
She smile, gratefully, and close the door behind her. When she smile like that I swear I though my heart was gonna explode.
"I can tell you have a kind heart by just looking at your eyes" she complement me. I blush a little.
       "You look like a very noble person, too" I responded.
       "Wish I could paid for what you're doing" she said.
        As she said that, she start looking for money form her purse but I stop her with my hand and shake my head slowly.
       "Company will do me good, my home is your home" I replied.
      "Let me do the housework, at least" she said not backing down.
      "I won't oppose to that" I replied, i heard a cute chuckle from her, I blush hard again but I realize she was shaking. "Let me show you the way to the bathroom so you can take a bath and put on warm clothes" I told her. 
      After I said that, Seulgi seem relieved and she follow me across the room. I fill the tub and leave a pile of towels in the bathroom. Then I walk away to give her some privacy. I heard the water falling and a sweet hum follow. Minutes go by as I just sit in bed and watch the flame of my candle move.
       "Is she singing? She must fell comfortable" I though in my mind. I recognize the song and hum softly along with her until the water stop.
       "How was the shower?" I asked her as she make her way to my room.
      "Perfect. I feel so much better now!" She replied.
     "You can wear this"I said as I give her some of my clothes.
"Thank you, you are so nice" she said as she grab the clothes.
Seulgi sits in the bed, in front of the mirror. She comb her hair with a towel around her body. I can't help myself but drool over, I never seen a women like her.
"Fuck, I can't stop staring" I curse under my breath.
"Am I sleeping here?"Seulgi asked, I tilted my head and realize her question. "No no, you can sleep in my bed, I'll just take the couch" I said and she frown, I started to grab things and when I'm about to walk out Seulgi stop me.
"But this is your bed" she said still frowning.
"I don't mind, plus your the guest" I said.
"But I do, please" She said bitting her lips, and I realize I can't say no to that.
"I don't know about this" I said not being too certain.
"I promise, I'll behave" she show me a playful gaze that I can't quite understand.
       "Does she like me?or is it my imagination" I though to myself.
        Seulgi finishes combing her hair and gets on her feet. She blow the candle in the room and drop her towels.
