Warriors: Pure & Perfect

Prologue

Ebonylight stood as tall as she could as she came face-to-face with the leader. The mixed-coloured tabby leader's eyes gazed at her with fury, tail lashing out from side-to-side as the apprentice's mangled body laid motionless in the clearing. The dark fawn medicine cat simply watched through narrowed slits as he got into an attack stance.

"You killed her didn't you? You killed them and splayed them out like that in the clearing for anyone to find didn't you?! All the bodies and all the deaths from kit to elder.." He echoed off after snarling which made Ebonylight shrug non-chalantly. "So what if I did? All the little Clanmates I killed were weak. I was simply getting rid of any detrimental weaknesses something that you do obviously couldn't do."

"You took innocent lives by your own claws and even those who were supposed to prepare themselves for Clan life eventually." Toadstar spat out more calmly, which made the sinister-like she-cat chuckle more. Not only was her own leader weak but they were dim-witted as well.

Ears pricking at the sound of insults being thrown at her from down below she rolled her eyes and chose to ignore it. "Oh Toadstar, if you knew anything about leadership or ambition, it would dawn on you that I don't really care about the lives I took only that the cats living them were weak and nothing but weak!"

"Well then you're no longer a part of ShadowClan, we trusted you and looked up to you as one of the best medicine cats in seasons." Toadstar's lips pulled his lips back into a harsh snarl. "You're exiled."

"No thanks!" Ebonylight yowled out as the whole Clan started to angrily chant coming closer towards the high rock. The medicine cat paid little attention to them, only flaring defiantly back at the leader. No matter what, Toadstar's pretty little behind, would never get her out of the Clan.

Toadstar sat back calmly but darkly gazed at her. "The only thing I cherish here, is that I was born into this Clan. I was raised here and I am not leaving."

"You are not welcome here anymore Ebonylight!" Toadstar spat at her. "You betrayed me, your Clan, StarClan above you even murdered your own Clanmates including your apprentice in cold blood."

Ebonylight growled in irritation especially since his words made no impact in her. "Oh shut up already Toadstar, don't you realise that your words cease to have any impact on me or are you really that stupid?"

The medicine cat smirked in satisfaction, knowing well that she hit a nerve, especially at the moment when the outraged leader pounced. Claws extended she allowed him to take the blow as force rolled them down the side of the high rock. "I hate to disappoint you Toadstar, but I would re-evaluate the situation seeing as me and my Dark Forest friends outnumber all of you."

Eyes widening in surprise as the leader dazedly got up to her paws she started backing away from the she-cat. Ebonylight's whiskers twitched in amusement at her Clan's reaction as they all squealed in horror. She wrapped her tail around her slender body as her Clanmates continued to act like a bunch of cowardly kits.

Ebonylight took the opportunity to run past Toadstar onto the High Rock. "Unlike some of you I am not a weak coward, which is why I admit that I am the fox-heart behind all the deaths these past few moons. I murdered your kits, apprentices and even the pathetic elder. You really should be grateful to me, I disposed of the weaklings and I made the Clan stronger. Now it is time for new leadership and for a new era to begin."
