Sweat, blood, hair. The three coated the redheads face, leaving her a panting mess as she stood outside a large building. Her feet planted firmly on the ground as an object flew towards her. Her arm extended and shot the object away. Her body turned to look around. Several loud bangs echoed through the streets.

Violet spun around and faced the direction of the noise, only to be met with something she wished she had never seen. No time to think. No time to fully process. Before she could fully comprehend what had just happened her legs were carrying her towards her brother, Pietro. Her knees buckled under her as she knelt beside him. "No, no." She whispered, her arms pulling him into her lap.

Pietro looked up at his sister, giving her a soft smile. "Take care of Wanda for me pebbles." He whispered before his body went limp.

Everything was in slow motion. No sound, no voices. Just the sound of her heart beating rapidly as she tried to wake him up. "Pietro!" Her voice roared, echoing through the streets. A harsh sob escaped her chest, her body falling forward onto him. Her fists balled his shirt, the pressure of her fingers turning her knuckles white. Her sobs quieted down as she pulled back, looking at her brother's body. "Pietro." She whispered, lightly touching his cheek. His blood lightly coated her hands from where she held his shirt.

A light tap was felt on her shoulder, her head turned to look behind her. She was met by the sight of her older sister. She quickly stood up and wrapped her arms around her neck, holding onto her as she cried. "This wasn't supposed to happen." She sobbed, her tears soaking Wanda's sweater.

The older teen pulled back and tilted her sisters head up to meet her eyes. "Pietro may be gone, but I promise you, from here on out I will protect you until the day I die." She whispered her saddened eyes, over flowing with tears of her own. "No one, will hurt you." Her words came out soft, but filled with meaning. "Now, you go with him to the boat. I will meet you there." She spoke, her hand leaving the young teens cheek.

Violet felt comfort in her sister's words. Her head turned and looked at Clint. "You take me to boat?" She said, her accent coming out thick. Her English wasn't as good as her brothers or sisters, but she still understood everything well. The red head walked beside Clint as he carried her brothers body onto the boat. She sat down next to the man and stared down at her brother.

Pained blue eyes met with the red beaming ones that belonged to none other than Ultron. Her frame shook as she squatted down to his level. "You can't stay here, you'll die." The synthezoid spoke. Wanda glanced at her hand. "I just did. Do you know how it felt?" Her words came out full of anger as her hand raised. The pull of her magic, pulled a metal ball out of the droids chest. "It felt like that." She said, staring at his corpse.

Violet watched as the ground began to crumble. She shot to her feet and ran to the edge of the boat. "Wanda!" She screamed, her voice echoing through the streets before everything collapsed. The teen collapsed to her knees, sobbing as the boat took off. For all she knew she was alone. She heard footsteps approach, but didn't move where she was. A very tired Clint sat beside the girl, trying his best to comfort her.

Violet pulled away and sat towards the corner, away from everyone else. Her tears had stopped, and she felt nothing but pain. She just lost both of her siblings.

The young witch sat in the corner until they were back on the larger ship. She got off and followed Clint inside. "Where do I go now?" She whispered, looking up at the man. Clint sighed softly, looking around. "With the Avengers." He said, placing a hand on her shoulder. Violet nodded and looked back at the ground.

A familiar voice pulled her out of her thoughts. Violet looked up, her eyes meeting with those that belonged to none other than Wanda Maximoff. She took a deep breath and ran at the older teen, wrapping her arms around her. She cried into her chest. "I thought you died." She cried, holding onto her shirt. Wanda pulled her face up and wiped her tears. "I'm not going anywhere. I promise." She said, walking with her into the ship.

The two sisters sat on a bench in the corner. Violet held onto her sister, laying her head on her shoulder. Wanda wrapped her arm around her frame and kissed her head. "I will keep you safe pebbles." She said, brushing the hair out of her face. Violet moved closer and closed her eyes. She was exhausted.

Wanda held her close. "Nothing will happen to you as long as I'm alive." Her voice came out a shaky whisper as a single tear escaped her eye. She quickly wiped it away and looked down at her sleeping sister.

A few hours later they arrived at the building. Wanda moved a little, looking around for someone. Vision walked over to check on them. "Can you carry her? I don't want to wake her yet." She said, watching Vision. The man nodded and carefully lifted the teen off the bench, carrying her inside beside Wanda. They made it inside and Vision walked to a small room with a bed. He laid her down and walked out. Wanda laid beside Violet and pulled her close. She closed her eyes and held onto her sobbing into her shoulder.

Violet heard her sisters harsh sobs and slowly woke up. She wrapped her arms around her and pulled her closer, she reached her face and wiped her tears away. "Its okay, we will protect eachother." She spoke, closing her eyes once more.
