Chaeyoung POV

I slid a tissue where I draw a penguin I honestly think she's an adorable penguin she laugh and mouthed the word cute I smile "So... is the coffee good?" I asked awkwardly I internally face palm on myself what's wrong with me why am I so awkward around her she giggle and replied "It's actually good taste like the coffee on Tzuyu's cafe" I chuckle "Well Tzuyu made it so I guess it's on auto pilot" when Momo said "Ms. Lee is looking for us" we all nodded and went to the studio and told Tzuyu well get going and the the whole class 2-1 we all arrived at the studio and Ms Lee is waiting for us "Sorry if I call you suddenly but we still need to practice" she said we all said it's okay since we will present our act the day before the much awaited play Hyung mention that Jihyo and Sana noona planned the schedule so all of us can watch at ease so they planned that the juniors performances with the less stage arrangement should go first before the seniors with a lot of stage arrangement and props should perform last thus the said schedule we start to practice as Ms Lee instructed the song we'll use is Taemin's Move Ms. Lee who choreographed it by herself and taught us the step by step after we memorize the whole routine she would leave us sometimes watch our move to know where we slow down and something like that now Ms. Lee ask us to dance from the start after the song ended Ms. Lee told us we take a break Dahyun and Momo went out to visit their love interest as Mina told me she's just use the ladies room I exhale I can do this! Why am I so nervous I shake my body trying to shake of my nervousness maybe because of the routine that's why I'm nervous I went to my bag and took out my sketch pad and my pencil try to relieve my stress using art I sat at the corner open my sketch book and draw anything I had in mind I honestly don't think it's as beautiful as other artist but still I'm very proud of what I can make I sometimes draw sketches of the surrounding the interior and sometimes characters that I can think of objects that I can bring back to life this hobby starts back when I was still a kid Dad would always hand me paper and pencil and asked me to do what ever I want in the canvas after the end of the day I'll show it to them Mom always love how I manage to draw in such a very young age Dad would always post my art on his board and boast it to his colleague Mom would always told me to continue whatever I'm doing and so until today I will keep doing what I'm doing Dad bunk in our apartment practically in my room he told us he save up enough money for us to start over again but I told him the apartment we use is fully paid until we finish this school year so Dad understood he told us he'd still be working to Mr. Yoo in one of his business establishment around Cheongdam-dong to save up enough money for us to afford a house all the 4 of us yes including Dahyun's Mom with that Mrs. Kim would not be hiding in the smallest city in Korea and will live here in the big city though Dad mention he'll still have to talk to her he mention that he'll make sure that after Mr. Yoo's plan he already settle and secure our safety which I honestly don't understand I was brought back to reality when the door creak open Mina smile I just felt my heart skip a beat how can she even do that she walk towards me and sat on the floor beside me "Do you usually draw on your free time?" she asked pointing at the sketch book I nodded "Yeah it's been a habit of mine since I was a kid" I replied she smile and replied "I finally found you" she replied I raise my eyebrow and look at her weirdly what is she talking about she took a piece of paper sandwich between her notes and gave it to me "You drew this didn't you?" she asked I took the paper and take a look at it it has my birthdate and the date is back in the 8th of February on the year 2004 just like how I sign every sketch I made and a sketch of I was only 5 years old and I recognize this drawing "You..." as she open her arms and envelop me into a tight hug "I thought I would never see you again" she said I smile and caress her back

12 Years Ago (Kobe, Japan)

A 5 year old me the only son of Son Jeonghun one of the top notch chemist in Japan and one of Yoo Changjun's facility I like when I sit on the tree and feel the breeze of the air of Japan Mom said she wants me to met someone my age and that's how I met my soul brother Kim Dahyun he's only a year younger than me but he's the complete opposite of me he's extrovertly introvert but I'm mostly introvert at least that's what hyung said now I'm sitting on my favorite spot under the shade big tree as I open my small book and use my pen and scribble anything I see my Dad mention how I have unique way in sketching things and he encourage me to continue whatever I'm doing, waiting for Dahyun and Kyungwan hyung sure taking there time they mention they met someone around the facility not sure if I'm excited to meet new person but if she took Dahyun and Kyungwan hyung's attention I'm sure she's definitely someone in my position I can always see everyone in the big facility's quadrangle from a far I saw a little girl looking around the area and went inside the facility I went back on sketching some trees, some shrubs, and basically anything I saw amusing from the series of flowers that the facility has to the most delicate trees that the facility kept I compile them on my sketch pad after I'm done Dahyun and Kyungwan hyung came "Chaeyoungie" they called I flip my sketch pad back Kyungwwan hyung look at me and asked "What's that?" I shrugged my shoulder and said "Nothing hyung" he just shrugged it off to as we walk around the facility's mini forest to look around some new things us 3 are the only Korean I know that's why Dad told me that I can talk freely to them since they know my mother tongue even if I know a little of Japanese but I'm more comfortable using my native language we walk around the area following Kyungwan hyung as he lead us around he basically grew up here so he knew every nook and cranny of this forest everytime we walk around here we always find loss bunny at the facility Mr Changjun to let them be as they are all should be on the forest so we always went here to visit but Kyungwan hyung wants to see them almost every day he said their cute I guess they are but not as cute as penguin but we still join him in searching for creatures inside the forest we always end up sitting and just taking a nap under a big shade of tree after few hours of talking anything under the sun we will walk back to the facility Dahyun hyung will always be welcome with his Dad on the front of the forest while Kyungwan hyung will run back to his Mom and Dad to drink water while I stay on the same tree I was with a while ago and continue to sketch when I saw the little girl again I smile she's so beautiful while leaning on a tree I think she's waiting for someone after a few minutes she sat down with her legs tuck on her chest like she's waiting on someone I was about to go to her to accompany her when Mom called me "Chaeyoungie" I look at my back and saw my Mom I look back to the little girl but I have no choice I run to my Mom as she hug me tight what's wrong "You okay?" she asked I nodded "Dahaengida" she said as she held my hand as we walk back to the facility my Mom is weird when we arrive inside Dad also look paranoid about something I honestly don't know what happen but they look alert and paranoid "What's wrong Dad? Mom?" I asked Dad sigh heavily and kneel "Dad is just worried Chaeyoungie always stay to Kyungwan Arachi? *I nodded* don't talk and stay away from strangers aside from your Dahyun and Kyungwan hyung arasso?" he said I nodded what's going on really "Let's eat hmm" he said I can still feel something is wrong but I shrugged it off maybe Dad drink a lot of coffee we had lunch together in my Dad's office after lunch Dad doesn't want me to go out but I reminded them I'll be on my favorite spot Mom agreed as she can see me from where I was sitting I walk back to the shade and saw the little girl already gone maybe the one she's waiting already arrive I still remember her clearly I took out my sketch pad and sketch her on my sketch book after a few minutes of sketching I finally got it putting my pencil down and satisfied of what I made and wrote 4230428 my own style of signing my sketches and tore it on the book fold it and sandwich it between the pages putting down my sketch book down and saw the little girl with Kyungwan hyung and Dahyun hyung running towards me while Kyungwan hyung is basically shouting my name while waiving his hands smiling widely "Chaeyoungie meet Minari, Minari meet Chaeyoungie" he said so she's my hyung's friend she's so cute I smile and wave timidly she smile and wave as we sat under the shade and play all afternoon until our parents pick us up as we went to our separate homes morning came and just like the usual we meet on the same tree and play on that same spot well unless we want to play with the bunnies on the mini forest that's the only time we're not on the shade of the tree I always arrive early since Dad mention it's better to wait to someone than making them wait for you and so Mom and Dad always remind me to be punctual sitting under the shade of tree is always my favorite opening my sketch book and draw then I remember Mina noona's smile she's really cute I didn't notice I draw her already looking at the paper it shock me at the same time feel amaze at myself when someone giggle beside me causing me to jolt and close the sketch book "I didn't know you can draw" she said I panic and smile awkwardly and basically run away from her taking my sketch book with me and went to Dad's office I'm so socially awkward
