It's the next day . Me , Lydia , and Allison are walking together into the school building .

"You really don't remember anything?" Allison asked .

"They called it a fugue state, which is basically a way of saying "We have no idea why you can't remember running through the woods naked for two days." But personally, I don't care. I lost nine pounds." Lydia responds nonchalantly.

"Are you ready for this ?" I genuinely ask Lydia .

"Please. It's not like my aunt's a serial killer."

We walk into the building and all the talking that was going on stops . All eyes were on Lydia , not a single word was spoken . Nobody made any sudden movements .

Lydia looked around nervously wondering what people were thinking . She just stood there staring back at everyone. She takes a deep breath and smooths her maroon dress down and fixes her hair anxiously.

Me and Allison look at each other with a worried look.

"Maybe it's the 9 pounds ." Allison says into Lydia's ear.

Lydia takes a deep breath and starts walking confidently, like nobody and nothing was bothering her .

And Allison and I walked behind her .

                                             •
It was lunch time and I was sitting next to Allison and Lydia .

"How are you and Scott ? You guys still keeping it secret?"I ask .

"We are great and yes I'm still hiding it . I just want to do my best to protect him and I - I don't know , I just don't want my family finding out." She sighs.

" It must be nice being in a relationship." Lydia states.

"What ever did happen with you and Jackson ?"

"Long story short is that he's just an asshole and he was literally trying to get with Allison the entire time. I deserve to be with someone that loves me and would do anything for me ." Lydia replied.

"Like my brother ?" I tease .

"Ugh , no. He's not my type ." Lydia protests.

"Ok don't go bashing my brother now-

I cut myself off when I see Isaac sitting alone the table across from me playing with his food .

"Guys I'll be right back ." I say as I'm getting up from the table and making my way towards Isaac.

I take a seat across from him and his eyes meet mine .

"Hey lahey ."

"Oh hey Stella." He responds.

"I see you remembered my name ."

"Well , it's not hard to forget." He speaks up.

"What are you doing here sitting all alone ?"

"I don't know, I guess I'm just quiet and keep to myself." He mumbles.

"Would you like to sit with me and my friends?" I offer , pointing to my table .

"No , thanks."

"Ok well , could I maybe get your number? So you can have someone to hang out with , as friends of course." I suggest.
