Chapter 6 - Valuable Information

The raven woman took a few more minutes but just fell asleep in the younger's arms, who didn't slept that night. The princess did close her eyes sometimes but never actually fell asleep. She wanted to trust the other woman, but she didn't, so she wasn't going to risk letting herself sleep and Lauren taking her mask off, even if she didn't believe the woman would do such thing.

So while one stayed asleep, the other just relax a little bit and passed the night awake. When the morning started coming, the sun rays entered the bedroom, and around ten Lauren started waking up. A smile appeared in her lips when she felt herself still cuddling with the serial killer, she was really happy and even got happier when she felt the lips of the psychopath on hers, kissing them gently but dangerously at the same time, if that was even possible. The CEO just went to do her morning routine while the serial killer got dressed, since she had to go and was never outside dressed like that, during the day. Of course Lauren tried to convince her to stay but the younger just denied the invitation and left while the powerful woman was eating breakfast.

Once she was outside, and way from any cameras on the streets, the serial killer quickly took her mask off and hid it, taking the gloves off as well and the jacket. That way, she looked like a normal young woman who was simply wearing black. Even so, she made her way to the house quickly and went to sleep. On Monday, her life was going pretty normal when she received a message from Lauren's number. The woman wished her a good day and asked if they could meet, unfortunately, the serial killer had to take care of Lauren's assistant so the first time she denied it, but on Wednesday she did except the invitation and went to meet the older, on her house, waking her up in the middle of the night like the other times but with no violence involved. The raven woman was happy and they spent a good time together. Lauren as actually getting more annoyed by her assistant, since the woman was trying a little to hard to have a none-work relationship with the CEO, but Lauren would just try to switch the topic to the vacation or giving an excuse to stop the conversation. Another thing it bother her that Wednesday was the meeting with the two detectives, Camila and Allyson, who didn't leave her alone by nothing. It was annoying, but the woman just relax with the serial killer making her feel good.

It was true, Camila and Allyson were working hard on the serial killer cases, which included making sure Lauren wasn't a target. Three new dead bodies, two body guards and one important man. However only two had the star of Satan, symbol of the 'princess of the underworld', and the rich man had another symbol. A dollar on his belly. It was weird, very weird, especially since Camila knew the princess worked alone. So a lot of theory's came up, which mean the week was very interesting for the two. Everything got more interesting when on Thursday, Camila got an email. Like always the detective just opened it to read whatever was in it. But as she clicked none stop for it to open it didn't. Frustrated, the woman just make one of the officers to call their hacker. So just a couple of minutes after, a black skin woman entered the office. She was taller and older than the detective and just sat down and worked her away to open the mysterious email.

"Can you do it Normani?"

"Of course I can." The hacker laughed softly and in a matter of minutes the email opened.

It didn't say anything, but it had a photo. Immediately on the next second her eyes caught the picture, Camila widened them and got closer. It was very dark, distorted, but she was able to see a figure marking a star on a dead bodies heart.

"The princess." She whispered to herself. "We have finally a picture of her!" She said actually happy about it.

Two years, almost over one hundred bodies, and nothing, not a hair, or blood, or even a finger print they had of the serial killer. At least not until that moment. It was actually something they could use and it was very promising.
