They used to be friends when they were children, they grew up in the same neighborhood and went to the same elementary, middle and now high school. They eventually did fall off and stopped talking when they got to freshman year, it hurt her a little because they were like best friends, but she eventually got over it and it was whatever to her.
Y/N's POV Today was the first day of junior year, I was excited but not really at the same time. I get up and shower, do my makeup and get dressed. (your outfit)

I ran downstairs and see my mom making breakfast, she asked me if I wanted something to eat and I told her I wasn't that hungry so I'll just get a bite to eat on the way to school. I wasn't. I then looked at the time and saw it was, 7:05 and class started at 7:10. Damn I should hurry my ass up. I grab my keys and ran out the door almost causing me to fall (you're a little clumsy) once I got in my car I drove off, I was almost out the neighborhood when I saw someone who looked familiar walking down the street. Then it hit me, I knew exactly who it was.
It was mattia, Im usually not the bold type but it looked like it was about to rain and school was almost starting too. I slowed down while I was driving and I rolled down my window,
Y/N: hey do you want a ride to school?
Mattia looked at me confused
M: oh so now you talk, he said with a smirk
Y/N: mattia you want a ride or not, i said starting to laugh
M: yh sure
Y/N: ok then get in loser
He got In and we started heading to school, when we got there we got off but by the time we got there we were already late, so we had to go to the office and get a tardy slip.
The secretary looked at Mattia and said; Late again I see Polibio, three more and you got det-
Mattia cut her off and said: Detention, yeah yeah i know 🙄
She looked at him with a well dont be late all the damn time then, face.
I looked at mattia and said, you don't have to be rude you know.
He looked at me and giggled
We got out of the office and met up with some of his friends, I only followed him because I was gonna ask him if he needed a ride home.
Before I could speak we caught up with his friends, who Im guessing we're late too because they were just outside the office, i was about to ask mattia the question until someone cut me off.
Ale: hey Mattia, wanna introduce me to your cute friend? He said laughing
I cut off Mattia before he could speak
Y/N: isn't it too early to be this bold Rozario?
Mattia and kairi, who was there too, started laughing
Ale: so you know my name? He said with a smirk
Y/N: ofc i do, we've had classes together since middle school you idiot 😂 i know you too, I said as I looked at kairi and smiled at him
He blushed, which caught me a little off guard but i thought it was kinda cute
Kairi: yh you're Y/N Diaz, I've had you in some classes before
Ale then cute him off before he could say anything else. (Man what is it with these people and cutting people off 😭😂).
Ale: nah I don't think so, I would've remembered a pretty face like yours
Mattia jumped in saying
M: nah she looked a little different in elementary and middle school
Y/N: it's fine Mattia you can say I used to be fat, I said starting to laugh
They giggled with me but I think they didn't want to laugh because it maybe made them uncomfortable
(Idk if this makes sense, like they laughed with her but not really, only bc they felt bad. Anyways, idk)
I then turned to mattia and asked if he needed a ride after school. Before he answered he looked at Ale and asked him if they had soccer practice today but ale said no because there was supposed to a thunderstorm today.
M: yh I'd like a ride if you don't mind
Y/N: ok just meet me by my car after school
I told them bye and started heading to 1st Period
When I was walking off I felt someone walking behind me I turned around and it was kairi
Y/N: you following me kairi? I said laughing
He giggled
Kairi: no but my class is in this direction too, hey what class do you have maybe it's the same one
I pulled out my phone, went to my gallery and looked at my schedule
Y/N: chemistry, what about you?
He smiled and said:
Kairi: omg me too bestie
He said in a girly way
I just laughed at him and when we got to class we sat down next to each other starting to write down what the teacher was writing on the board.
