Thomas and I were running down the street away from the paparazzi. I was laughing so much, we kept on bumping into people. He held my hand pulling me along the street with a big smile on his face.
"Where are we going?" I said laughing just about getting the words out of my mouth as we were running.
"It's a surprise!" He shouted behind him looking at me. "Coffee is way to boring!"
I just giggled and held onto his hand tighter.
"I think we lost them" I said turning around and bumping into Thomas. He smiled at me and I took a step back. "I'm so sorry!" I said worryingly. At that point he just started laughing. "What?" I said smiling watching him laugh.
"You really are clumsy!" He said wheezing.
"Oh, shut up!" I said playfully hitting him. "Anyways, where are we going?"
"The bridge!" He pointed at the bridge not too far away from us and then we walked towards it, talking the whole way non stop.
"We're here!" He said pointing at the bridge. We had been at the cafe for a few hours and it took a while to walk to the bridge so now it was 4, almost sunset. "Hungry?" He asked.
"A bit..." I giggled.
"Let's get some food and sit on the bridge then." He said.
"Ok" I smiled.
We walked over to the closest place with food which ended up being a Chinese takeaway place. We both ordered the egg fried rice and kung pao chicken to share. I was just about to pay when Thomas got his card out and contactless bought it instead.
"On me" he smiled.
"Thank you" I smiled back. I got lost in his eyes for a moment and then someone shouted.
"Order 128!"
I grabbed the food and Thomas took it from my hands and carried it the rest of the way to the bridge. We found a bench and sat on it looking over the bridge onto the lake.
"Wow!" I stood up looking across the lake.
"Welcome to London!" Thomas said and I turned around and smiled at him.
"Let's eat!" I said sitting down. We both ate and talked for a while and by the time we finished it was almost 6.
"I'm stuffed!" Thomas said slouched on the bench.
"Me too!" I copied him and me both laughed. "The sunset will be here soon!" I said excitedly.
"Is it really that late already?" He asked.
"Yep, today's gone pretty fast..." I said.
"I guess time flies when you having fun!" He smiled jokingly making me laugh.
"Indeed!" I did in the most British accent that I could, pulling a funny face.
"Look at the colours!" Thomas said looking over the bridge. I stood up next to him and looked over the lake where the sunset had already started making the lake the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
"Wow!" I said.
"Step up one!" He said talking about the bridges side poles.
"Why?" I said mischievously.
"Trust me?" He asked.
"Of course" I replied and stepped up one of the 4 poles. I felt Thomas looking at me so I looked back at him. He put his arms out to ask if he's aloud to touch my waist and I nodded, he gently held my waist and I put my arms up as I felt some wind going through my hair.
"This is amazing!" I shouted. And Thomas was laughing at me. The pole then felt slippery and then I tripped off of it falling backwards which then Thomas caught me.
"You caught me" I said in his arms.
"Always" he replied with.
"What is that now? The 4th? Maybe 5th time?" I giggle.
"I think so" he laughs with me and helps me stand up straight.
"This was amazing, thank you so much for today Thomas" I say.
"You can call me Tom if you like?" He said.
"Ok then, thank you... Tom" I say smiling.
"No problem... Malia" Tom said.
"Can I take you home?" He asked.
"That would be lovely!"
