Nilsa walked, well was half dragged, to meet up with the Erudite that had entered the compound. She couldn't keep her teeth grinding at the sound of her mother's voice.

"Prior. You're Andrew Prior's daughter, aren't you?" As always her mother never waited for a question to be answered when she could answer it herself. "Beatrice." Nilsa cringed at the name. It was very Abnegation, no wonder the stiff shortened it.

"It's just Tris now." She corrected. Nilsa couldn't help the small smirk, her mother hated being corrected. Eric bumped her shoulder lightly, but she noticed a small smirk he had as well.

"Tris, I like that." Nilsa couldn't have stopped from rolling her eyes at her mother's fake sweetness if she tried. "Hmm. You made an impressive choice,Tris, despite your parents." Thank God your parents didn't influence anything was all Nilsa could think.

"And your test result." She heard the underlying tone her mother had and gave a side look to Eric.

"You've seen my test result?" Nilsa wanted to facepalm. If she hadn't already had her mother interest she did now. Jeanine made a point of following the leaders children, especially after the unconfirmed rumors with Marcus Eaton.

"Of course. I'm glad you were smart enough to know your own mind. Let me know if you ever need anything." That was a lie. Her mother hated people that thought different to her, her daughter being a prime example. "How kind of you...mother." She filled as much discuss into the word as she could.

She saw the shocked looks on the initiates faces. "What? Didn't see that one coming?" She asked the other leaders child. "Nilsa. Always wonderful to see my daughter." Oh how Nilsa wanted to smart off but she was already pushing her luck. "Yes, aren't family reunions always wonderful." She said using the fake happy tone she remembered well from Erudite.

Her mother believed herself infallible. She never stopped to think about why she and Eric had volunteered to go to Dauntless. Thinking them her good foot soldiers for the Erudite cause. Her eyes in the compound she couldn't control freely like the others.

"Well, I believe Max is waiting for us in his office if we can escort you, Jeanine." Eric broke the tension between mother and daughter. "Eric, aren't you always so well mannered." Nilsa couldn't help the laugh that escaped. The damn brow with up with a smirk when he heard it. The laugh turned to a cough.

"Ya, well mannered. Always a way to describe the Coulters."

Ok, admittedly she and Eric should have probably taken the next morning of training off after her mother pushed all their buttons the night before. But if a night of rough sex hadn't helped then the initiates would have to pay.

"First fight. Peter versus Tris." Eric called as they walked into the training room. Each sporting well earned bruises under their black clothing.

"What?" "Uh-oh." Nilsa loved that reaction. The Dauntless born hadn't been nearly as much fun. They knew pairings can be mixed gender. Was pairing the weakest and strongest physically fair? No, but the enemy wouldn't fairly match who you fight.

"It's Eric. He's just trying to get back at you." Nilsa heard the girls words and had to speak. "No, know-it-all, the stuff needs to learn or leave. Don't worry we have a nice paring for you too." She assured. The boys would be cocky about fighting the girls today but she and Eric would fight in the next round to take them down a peg.

Nilsa wondered over to Eric looking at the data pad he was typing on for the matches. "As, look, babe. Four had a girlfriend stiff." She said barely moving her eyes from the tablet. She saw Eric glance up for a second as well. His evil smirk made her giggle. The sound seemed to scare the initiates, as it should. She was her mother's daughter after all and a Coulter now.

"All right there, stiff? Look like you're about to cry. Might take it easy on you if you cry." Peter said getting in the ring. Nilsa hated that attitude on others. "He's mine tomorrow." She said quietly. Eric nodded ever so slightly to acknowledge her. He knew she would take down the cocky former Erudite without breaking a sweat.

"Come on, Tris." Cristina shouted. Nilsa circled the ring looking at technical points. The girl had semi decent form of she knew what to do with it. The boy was relying on brute strength.

It only took a few hits before Peter had Tris on the mat the first time. Nilsa shook her head. Being quicker than him Tris could have ended this already.

"Get up. Get up." Peter taunted the girl on the ground. Eric made a noise of frustration when they circled around each other a few times. "Come on. Stop playin' with each other." He shouted. Peter went after the girl at Eric's words. She was on the ground again almost instantly.

The boy looked at Eric and at his raised brow remembered the new rule. Until someone can't fight. With that he curb stomped Tris knocking her unconscious. Nilsa watched as Christina and a few others dragged Tris from the ring as Four watched closely.

"Won the fight with sloppy movement and easily defensible hits. Points for the win, but none for technical." Nilsa said and Eric agreed nodding. He called the next pair to the ring as she walked to the side Four stood. "She'll be fine. The only question..." she said watching the next fighters go at it. "Is will she make the train tonight or get disqualified." She reminded him.

He nodded understanding her warning. Not participating in Capture the Flag was instant dismissal from Dauntless. No exceptions.

They would have to see what the night brought.
