Chapter 2: Power of the amulets/ Confessions

Third Person POV:
Jack and Ava were now their alter egos, Wolf Knight, and White Tiger. They were on Wolf Knight's wolf-cycle and were headed to the S.H.I.E.L.D. Tricarrier. While they were headed there, J. Jonna Jameson appeared on the DBC news board and started off as usual.

"People of New York. I have proof that everything that has everything that has happened in our fair city can be led back to that wall crawling menace, Spider-Man. It is the job of every New Yorker to report that web-heads crimes to the proper authorities. Spider-Man, Threat or Menace? Spider-Man, Criminal or Thug? Spider-Man, public enemy number one!" J. Jonna Jerk face said.

"Is he always like that with Spiderman?"  Wolf Knight asked, "Yep. It's a wonder that Spidey hasn't webbed his mouth shut yet."  White Tiger said. "In unrelated news. A new, true, hero has made an appearance earlier today. The best part, minimal damage to the city and the defeat of three members of the Sinister Six. But my only question is, why hasn't he taken down that menace, Spider-Man?" JJJ asked.

"Access D.B.C. activate video feed." Wolf Knight said, "Wait, we're getting an encrypted video call." JJJ said, "J. Jonna Jameson. I am Wolf Knight. I watched your report and I have to say, you are completely wrong about Spiderman."  Wolf Knight said as his symbol appeared on the screen next to Jameson.

"What?! I'm never wrong." Jameson said, "Oh really? Then who was the one who saved your son? Who stopped the Goblin? Who stopped Venom? Answer, Spider-man, and his team. I have been monitoring their activities for the last three years. And they do what they can to protect the people of New York. You know that Spider-Man is a hero. You just choose to believe that he is the one responsible for everything that has happened. This is a wake up call. Never talk slander about a hero like Spider-Man. You have no clue what he's been through or what he has done for this city. In my eyes, he's a hero. Just like his team."  Wolf Knight said as he disconnected the call and left JJJ speechless for once.

"Impressive. I bet Spidey is going to be really happy you stood up for him."  White Tiger said, "Like I said, Spidey is a good guy. Even if his battles tend to get out of hand. He still does the best he can." Wolf Knight said as they made it to the area where a jumpjet will pick them up to take them to the Tricarrier. The jumpjet arrived and Fury walked off to greet Wolf Knight and White Tiger "Wolf Knight, I see you gave White Tiger an upgraded suit." He said, "Yeah. She works hard, she deserves it. It's made from advanced Nanotech-fibers, laced with Adamantium and Vibranium. It's connected to her bio-signature so only she can use it. Plus, I added a voice modulator to help protect her identity."  Wolf Knight said.

"I'm impressed. Tech like that will be very useful." Fury said, "Don't get any ideas. Like I said, my terms. Which means, keeping my tech away from people like HYDRA and S.H.I.E.L.D."  Wolf Knight said. "Wolf, it's alright. Fury knows that tech like this would be useful to people who want to make a difference." White Tiger said as her mask retracted and Wolf Knight sighed.

"Fine. But I will only give self defense tech to S.H.I.E.L.D. only. No weapons."  Wolf Knight said. "Fair enough. Before we make you two an official duo, I want you to meet the other members of White Tiger's team. And if you are willing, some training to help you in the field." Fury said.

Wolf Knight sighed and nodded his head as they entered the jumpjet and loaded his bike into the jet as well. White Tiger and Wolf Knight sat next to each other as Fury went to the cockpit. "Jack, I promise. Fury just wants to help." Ava said, Jack opened his helmet and looked at Ava. "I know, but I don't really know much about S.H.I.E.L.D. I don't want to get into something that will lead me into getting put in jail." Jack said worriedly.

Ava's/ White Tiger's POV:
I smiled and took Jack's hand, "You won't end up in jail. Not as long as I'm your partner and best friend." I said as he looked at me and smiled. 'Maybe there is a chance for me and him to be together.' I thought to myself as I blushed and looked away. Jack put his helmet back on and I had my mask return as well.
