"So. Why are you coming up and ranting to me about all this?" Iwaizumi asks. The bawling of Oikawa's tears finally stopped after a long vent of Oikawa's fuss on how he truly felt about you. He did love you, even now. He doesn't want to give up on you. But now that he finally realizes you like Kageyama, he wants you to be happy and continue to chase after Kageyama. "I honestly don't get why you're telling me. You have already decided, right?"

"Yeah.. If I love her, I let her go." Oikawa said. He looks down feeling gloomy. "I never really got a chance in the first place."

"Same with (L/N). Everyone starts at zero. You didn't expect (L/N) to like you from the beginning, right? Just because girls fawn over you doesn't mean all girls like you. It's natural if (L/N) has someone she likes." Iwaizumi said, drinking his water bottle. He puts it down and raises his eyebrow. "You're the one limiting your options. Why did you give up on a girl like (L/N)?"

"If I stay in love with her for who knows how many years, is it possible that she might develop feelings for me?" Oikawa asks. "The second guy doesn't get the girl you know."

"Second guy? What are you talking about? You gave up. That's all there it is to it." Iwazumi explains. "Don't hesitate. Just do it. It's the same for volleyball. I don't know what kind of love you're in right now but work hard for something and you might possibly achieve it. Be selfish and don't give up to the very end."

"Iwa-chan.." Oikawa tears up. "I want to wait for her. But if she ends up liking me because things didn't work out for Tobio, it only means she's been suppressing her feeling. I can't do that to her."

"The if thing again. Is there an if in volleyball? You either win or lose." Iwaizumi said. "Someone told me, there might be no chance for someone but there is that one percent of hope that will keep someone going when it comes to love."

"I know that-"

"No, you don't. We don't win at every game in volleyball. If you mess up on volleyball then you would try to figure it out and improve. Isn't that the same for love?" Iwaizumi asks. "I don't know much about love but keep trying to make (L/N) like you."

Oikawa smiles and sweatdrops. "I don't know what you mean by that.."

A vein pops out of Iwaizumi's head. "Forget it! I tried to help you!"

"I mean I understand a bit of what you're saying. Thanks, Iwa-chan." Oikawa smiles. "But I think I've made my decision."

"Don't regret it and cry back to me." Iwaizumi said, knowing Oikawa answer. He will let you go because he loves you.
