It's been a little while ever since the world finally made peace and united as one true nation, and Emmet also found out the truth about Lucy, he gasped in shock after finding out Lucy was part of the original singers of his favorite song, Everything is Awesome.
"Emmet." Lucy said harshly.
Emmet was still into his gasping that he couldn't hear anything from outside.
"Emmet!" Lucy yelled again, she proceeded to snap her fingers, "Snap out of it!"
Emmet then came back to reality, he dropped the record to the floor then shaking his head in realization, "I-"
Lucy face-palmed and said, "You've been gasping for 10 minutes."
"Why are you acting like this is something you hear every day?" Emmet screamed like a fangirl.
"Yeah!" Unikitty hopped off the ceiling and stood by Emmet, "It's fascinating!"
"Lucy you created the best song of all times!" Emmet hugged Lucy tightly, "I love you."
"It's not the best." Lucy pouted angrily, "And I also love you."
"Hey, guys look!" Unikitty wagged her tail in happiness.
"Hey, friends." Queen Watevra Wa'Nabi approached in the form of a horse, "What's Poppin?"
"Lucy is actually the real singer of everything is awesome!" Emmet told his friends in excitement.
"No way!" They all gasped in shock.
"Oh, right I obviously, already knew about that." Batman bragged about it, even though he was lying.
"You're so smart." Watevra kissed her husband's cheek.
"No, you didn't." Lucy's eye-rolled in annoyance.
"What happened tough, why did you guys split up?" Sweet Mayhem asked in curiosity.
"That band is everything I'm ashamed of." Lucy stated, looking down sadly.
"Why ye be ashamed by something to be proud of?" MetalBeard asked after her doubtful response.
"Because of the prophecy." Lucy looked down sadly and sighed, "We used to perform every night it was amazing, but then I heard about the prophecy and president business started to hunt Master Builders, so that put me and my friends in danger, I was forced to change my identity and wipe their memories and delete me from every album or version that ever existed. But it doesn't really matter now, does it? Because I have you and you have me and we're happy like that."
The group watched as they wiped their tears and clapped their hands.
Emmet then blew his nose, "C-can you sing for us?
"Hmm, let me think about it, sure!" Lucy ripped her clothes, revealing her old performance outfit, Lucy broke into song, with upbeat background music, "Everything is Awesome, everything is cool when you're part of a team, everything is Awesome when you're living out a dream, everything is better when we stick together, side by side you and I gonna win forever? let's party forever!"
Lucy danced across the streets meeting with citizens, "We're the same unlike you, you & me we are working in harmony."
President Business who just came back after a long explosion of fireworks complained, "Oh shut up."
"Everything is Awesome, everything is cool when you're part of a team, everything is Awesome when you're living out a dream" Lucy did splits as she arrived at the center of the town.
All citizens started to gather around the stage and dance to the song.
Batman popped up on the screen, he grabbed a microphone and wore his suit, "I just heard the news, everyone's talking: Life is good! 'cause everything's awesome, awesome jobs and new opportunity, more free time for my awesome community, I feel more awesome than an awesome possum, put my body in chocolate frosting, three years later I shot the frosting, smelling like a possum, everything is awesome, accept to look at new brown shoes, it's awesome to win and it's awesome to lose."
Lucy is joined by Sweet Mayhem and both sing together as they head to the top of the statue of liberty, "Everything is better when we stick together, side by side you and I gonna win forever, let's party forever, we're the same unlike you, you & me we are workin' in harmony, everything is awesome, everything is cool when you're part of a team, everything is Awesome when you're living out a dream."
Emmet along with the rest of his friends sing together, "Everything is Awesome, everything is cool when you're part of a team, everything is Awesome when you're living out a dream."
Queen Watvra Wa'Nabi then broke into song rapping to it, "Blue skies, bouncy springs, we just named a few awesome things, a Nobel prize, a piece of string, you know what's awesome? Everything, dogs with fleas, allergies, a book of Greek antiquities, brand new pants, a very old vest, awesome items are the best, things, dogs, clogs, they're awesome, rocks, clocks, and socks, they're awesome, figs, and wigs, and twigs, that's awesome, everything you see or think or say is awesome!"
The main group arrived at the top of the statue's old hands while they and every other citizen sing the last lines of the song in harmony, "Everything is Awesome, everything is cool when you're part of a team, everything is awesome when you're living our dream." They watched as fireworks blew up in the sky.
