Life story: Eunji started skating when she was 4 yrs old, she was a pro from the beginning and knew it's what she wanted to do. Her mom took her to a skating rink near their neighborhood and she hasn't left the ice since. She would spend every hour of every minute on the ice, when she was 6 yrs old, she had to use the bathroom but didn't want to leave the rink and ended up peeing on the ice. Let's just say it was lesson learned from that day on that she needed to take a break once in a while. When she was 7, she started completing professionally and won most of her competitions. As more yrs passed on, eunji only exceeded at what she does and was a force to be reckon with. Everyone who loved figure skating knew who eunji was, everyone was scared to compete against her. When she was 15, she asked her mom to be homeschooled so she can skate more. Her mom agreed and eunji ended up spending 8 hours a day skating. When she was 18, she got to compete at the olympics and won a silver medal, that made more people aware of her existence and everyone in Korea knew her as the ice champion. She even got to fly to the US and compete in their competitions as well. When she became 19, she won her first gold medal and beat all the other competitors who were much older than her. Some people became salty towards eunji's success because she beat many grown adults including the male competitors, they just couldn't handle a woman succeeding greatly.

Growing up she didn't have much, she wasn't the best at school and her family worked many hours a day to help their family get by. Skating was the only think eunji knew and was actually good at it, however, the costumes costed a lot and her mom couldn't afford what the coaches were asking for. Eunji and her mom sewed many of her outfits for competition, she one time got disqualified because of the costume she was wearing. The people of Korea couldn't handle someone like eunji to represent their country in figure skating because of her family's class, but nevertheless, eunji proved that there was no one like her and she's here to stay and thrive. Being one of the most famous skaters have made her family a lot of money and in result, they moved to a better home and had an easier life. All the money and effort her parents put in figure skating has paid off.

Next week, the Figure Skating Championships 2018 is happening with a performance by BTS. Eunji is ready to take on another challenge as she trains to do a difficult routine that includes a tripe axel. If she successfully does it, she'll make history by being the first Korean women to ever do so.
