「Warm Heart 」

Tord was down the sidewalk with his hands in his pockets and a bandage around his eye as to not let it show, he quietly turned the corner with a soft yawn as he continued to walk a bit.
"T-Tord! Wait!" Edd yelled running after Tord.
Tord stopped for a moment and looked around before stopping and looking back at Edd
"Oh...hey" he said quietly before turning fully to look at him.
"Why did you leave?.." Edd asked frowning slightly "is it Tom or something I did? I'm sorry if so!" He couldn't help but have a look with worry.
"Wha...no you didn't do anything wrong I was just going to visit someone as well" Tord said as he nodded over to an... orphanage? Why was he going in there?
Edd raised an eyebrow "O-okay..?" He said slightly confused and curious "well..s-sorry I assumed" he said looking away and then down.
"It's fine really" Tord said with a smile "come on" he said gesturing for Edd to follow him as he began to walk into the entrance of the orphanage with a small smile.
Edd nodded yet still in confusion but followed him looking around, who would he wanna visit at an orphanage?.. well at least it wasn't Tom going here...

Tord stayed quiet with a small smile as he walked in, there were children of all ages walking and running and playing around, there was an old Mexican looking woman with very gray hair and glasses on, Tord quietly walked over as some kids went quiet while he stood behind the old lady "knock knock..." Tord said as the old woman froze and turned around before tightly hugging Tord, "heh.. nice to see you again mama" he said quietly hugging back as the old woman began to cry quietly, some of the kids yelled happily while going over to Tord ranting and saying they were happy to see their 'big brother Tord again'
Edd heard this and had been in even more confusion then he was before but stood there watching as the children had been running around him.
The woman stopped hugging Tord as she gently kissed his forehead
"Hello mama sorry I haven't visited all of you guys for a while, I've been a bit busy"
He said before the kids began to grab his arms and laughing as he lifted up his arms with the kids on them and began to spin around a bit, causing them to laugh happily.

As Edd looked at the kids and Tord he couldn't help but giggle.
'He's so sweet, I'm just glad to have a friend back'
Edd thought as a slight smile began to appear on his face before it had disappeared
'Even though he hurt me.. I'm accepting him!' He looked down into thought.
'What if he hurts me again?.. especially my friends... I cant let that happen again.. stop thinking like that Edd he's your friend now he's changed it's okay Edd just.. calm down....calm down..'
Tord was smiling and laughing happily but put the kids down before going over to Edd
"Hey... you alright there Edd? You look like you saw a ghost.. or Tom"
He said quietly with a soft smile, before ruffling Edds hair up a bit as to just tease him just wanting to be sure that he was fine at the very least.
Looking at Tord in surprise he felt his hand ruffling his hair and even smiling a little as he did so, he had to admit he enjoyed it and not to mention he forgot about all the bad things that had happened. Edd moved his head closer towards his hand feeling comfort.
Well Tord was slightly surprised by this but didn't mind and just continued to do it before he eventually stopped with a soft laugh, as the old woman came over with a smile
"Why hello there...you must be Edd was it?.." she asked having a soft tone to her voice and a smile. The woman getting his attention Edd turned around "how did you know?" He asked as he tilted his head.
"Oh when Tord was little he use to talk away abou-" but before then Tord cleared his throat
"Mama I don't think that this is a good time..." he said a bit flustered as some kids came and actually tackled Tord onto the ground with a thud, all of them sitting on top of him "..why..."

Edd raised an eyebrow "He.. talks about me?..." he asked curious hoping it wasn't anything negative. "Oh yes he use to talk about you all the time, he even described every single little detail about you, that you always like puns and loved the drink cola of coke I think that is what it's called, forgive me dear this old woman has the worst of memory" she said laughing softly as Tord just quietly banged his head on the ground in embarrassment.
Edd laughed "it's okay.. wow I never knew he would talk about me like that" he giggled "anything else I should know?" He puts on a grin.
"Oh actually-"  but before she could speak Tord yelled out
"MAMA A LITTLE HELP-"
Tord said trying not to have her say anything more embarrassing, Edd looks over at Tord laughing once again and walking towards him as he started kneeling down looking at him "having fun?~" he teased with the same grin he had on his face.
Tord just groaned as the woman clicked her tongue and all the kids got off laughing and giggling as Tord got up with a soft sigh and Edd standing back up as well, Tord just rolled his eyes and shook his head "thanks mama..." he said with a small chuckles as the kids smiled and laughed, the strange thing was none of them seemed to ask about his eye or his arm as if they had somehow already saw it..?

Edd put his hands in his hoodie pockets looking at the woman smiling 'she's really nice' he thought. Tord just sighed with a shake of his head quietly, "well ma it was nice to see all of you again but.... we should get going after all I know you have a long day with all of the kids" Tord said giving the old woman a kiss on top of her head as she returned it, Tord smiled and nodded before going to exit or well entrance needless to say leave, gesturing for Edd to follow as well. As Edd sped up towards him he held his hand happily, I mean.. it was okay they're friends after all! He looked at Tord giving him a small gentle smile. Tord smiled and gently held Edds hand back "well best we get heading back home shall we?" He asked with a soft chuckle, if you completely forgot about all the bad and horrible things he did, he looked.. peaceful... Edd looked away still having the same smile "yeah.." he giggled.
