A/N: Alright...I promised not to cry, but what I'm relating in this story is from reality (sort of, it it inspiring anyway). I had an awesome team that split up because the company wasn't paying us right and took some of the advantages, so we all found other places. This is my last week here and I cry because I miss them and we won't see each other because of covid and so on. Sigh. I had the best time with them, I swear. Too bad team building never happened here because we would have had a blast!

P.S.: Isn't Miller looking killer in this photo? hehehe

Days passed since Victoria met the coolest gang in the company and she felt amazing about the fact that they accepted her. She had to stay more in meetings and trainings at the beginning, but she managed her time right and was smart about her break time. They also went all together to eat at the cafeteria, sharing food and laughs.

"No way you cooked this." Alex tasted her casserole that she brought for lunch. He was subtly hitting on her, but that was his way with all women. He was a smart guy, sometimes he was obvious about stuff, like telling everybody what he thought, what he was too good at and so on. He was annoying in a way, but he was also friendly and Victoria had to learn how to accept his behavior.

"It's just a casserole." She giggled at the statement. "If anybody wants a bite, be my guest."

"I'm gonna take a bite because it smells and looks amazing." Cathy loved to cook and wanted to learn everything about it. She enjoyed food like all of us – stress-eating. Which is a bad thing, of course, but let's be real for a moment, when you crave something and you get to eat it, it's the best feeling in the world!

Even if Michael liked Alex like a friend, he was not approving of his ways and never said anything when he stated something about the women around them. He was reserved and brought comments only when needed. They all went to the break room to talk about all crazy stuff, but play pool at the same time. Mariusz came in with a freshly printed paper in his hand, bouncing around.

"What happened? You finally got a decent raise?" Cathy laughed, being a fan of sarcasm as well.

"No, no, no!" he waved the paper in front of her. "We're going on a team building trip! It's seven days long!"

"That's not team building, moron!" Alex smacked his head. "We are going there for training. You can count the weekend to be the extra though."

"Anyway, it's next week and I couldn't be more excited!" Mariusz punched his arm and kept on bouncing around.

"Great. One more trip to the cheap chalet." Michael rolled his eyes, setting the white ball on the game table and trying to break.

The paper finally reached Victoria's hands. "It sounds like a waste of time to be honest."

"It's not really. We're going to stay together in a chalet, while others pick the nearest hotel. That's why Michael is not as excited. We make him drink and have fun." Cathy explained, chuckling.
