-Cybertron-

Ratchet was walking home after a late shift at the Iacon hospital. The street lights were dim as the rain poured. The medic walked home as the cold rain rolled down his frame(Hot). He heard squealing and whimpering as he neared an alley. Ratchet looked down the alley and didn't see anything, he walked down to the edge near the other road and saw a box that was under a roof the dripped water. In the flooded box was a small cybertronian baby. Ratchet looked around confused. There was nobody around, not a single print in the mud. He looked back to the box and kneel down looking to the baby. The baby stopped and sniffled, opening his big blue optics. Ratchet slightly smiled and reached his servo into the box. The young cybertronian reached up and grabbed his digit and squealed.

"Hmm,"

Ratchet took one last look around the streets and heard thunder rumble across the skies. He looked to the baby who started to whimper and cry again. The medic reached his other servo down and cupped the young into his palms. Ratchet held him close and kept him warm as he walked through the rain. The medic reached his domain and bathed the young cybertronian. The baby cooed and squealed flinging the oil at the medic's face. Ratchet chuckled and continued to wash him until he was all clean. Ratchet set him down on the counter and dried him off. The baby grabbed onto the rag and would fall over giggling. Ratchet smiled and wrapped him into a bundle, holding him close to his chassis. The baby leaned his helm down on medic's chassis. Ratchet sat down in his chair and rubbed the young's back.

"I'll take care of you," He said, moving the rag to look at the baby's small helm, "I promise."

The young cybertronian looked up and slowly spoke, "D-Dada?"

Ratchet looked down and sighed, "No, not Dada."

The baby looked up to him and whimpered, "Where... Dada?"

Ratchet leaned back and looked down to the poor baby, "I don't know little one," He looked down and sighed, "I'm Ratchet..."

The young moved in his bundle and stood up in Ratchet's servos and touched the sides of his face, "R....Ratchet?"

"Yea..." The medic smiled.

The young cybertronian giggled and hopped, "Ratchet!"

The medic smiled and looked over to the little mech, "Do you have a name?"

The baby looked around and didn't answer for a while. Finally he looked back over and looked at Ratchet.

"Bee..."

"Just Bee?"

"Bumblebee..." The baby spoke shyly.

Ratchet smiled and held Bumblebee closer to his chassis. He watched the rain roll down his window and watched the baby fall asleep against his chassis.

-Next Day-

Ratchet was walking to work and had Bumblebee with him. He looked around as the others looked at him pass. Bumblebee sat up on Ratchet's shoulder very still and good. He looked around to the other strangers. A young mech came running down the street and Bumblebee held onto ratchet's horns. The medic smiled and looked to the mech coming toward them.

"Hey..." Orion said, out of breath.

"Late again?" Ratchet chuckled.

Orion nodded and looked over to Bumblebee. He gasped and reached up to the medic's shoulders.

"Who's this cutie?"

"Bumblebee."

Orion smiled and reached out to him. Ratchet looked at Bumblebee and smiled.

"Go on."

Bumblebee slid off of Ratchet's shoulder and let Orion hold him. Orion giggled and looked at him as he held onto his chassis.

"Where'd you find him? I know he's not yours."

Ratchet sighed and looked around, "Last night during the storm."

Orion opened his mouth and bounced Bumblebee in his arms, "You poor thing."

Ratchet set his servos on his hips and looked around, "So, um... hows your relationship with the gladiator doing."

"It's ok," Ratchet looked to the mark on Orion's face plate.

"What's that mark?"

Orion stopped and held Bumblebee and looked at Ratchet.

"We um got into a fight and he hit me."

Ratchet huffed and looked up to the city tower as the clock chimed. Orion handed Bumblebee back to Ratchet and started running to the Archives.

"See you tomorrow!"

Ratchet smiled and looked at Bumblebee as he moved around in his arms. He leaned out and pointed to the tall building down the road.

"What's that?" He asked.

"The Iacon hospital."

"Is that were we're going?"

Ratchet nodded and smiled walking to the building. He stepped in and his assistant, Silverstrike walked out from behind the desk and smiled.

"Awe! Who's this?"

"Bumblebee!" The young shouted.

Ratchet smiled and looked at him, "Yea that's you."

Silverstrike looked around and chuckled, "Is he yours?"

"No I found him yesterday after the midnight shift."

"Bad shift," Silverstrike said, crossing her arms behind her back.

Ratchet walked and set Bumblebee in a room and looked at him, "Stay here," Bumblebee grabbed onto his servo and whimpered.

"Don't go..." He mumbled.

Ratchet looked back at Silverstrike as she put her servo over her chassis.

"I have to go to work..."

Bumblebee pulled Ratchet's servo back and hugged it, "Don't go..."

Ratchet sighed and looked at Silverstrike, "Ask the boss if I can bring him upstairs... He's not gonna let me go."

Silverstrike chuckled and headed upstairs to get the boss. Ratchet looked down to Bumblebee. His small helm was tucked against his servo. Ratchet moved his thumb digit over his helm and smiled.

"You're so cute," He mumbled.
