The truth

When we get to the school it's snowing out. "well, hello. angel." says a voice from behind me. that when I feel warm, strong arms around my waist.
I know who it is as soon as I feel their embrace. Jace.
"Jace. Stop being all lovey dovey and get us some drinks." Says izzy walking up behind us.

"Well you look beautiful angel." He whispers in my ear.
Before he gets back I find a bench on the edge of the ice rink. I put on my skates after taking my shoes off. I leave my shoes where there at and walk over to the rink. That's when I notice jace standing on the ice waiting for me. There's something in his eyes telling me he needs to talk to me and it's important. There's something else but I don't know what. As soon as I'm on the ice I swerve around a few girls that are on the skating team and are showing off for jace. I skate up to him and he takes me into his arms and to my surprise he kisses me again.
"I love you." He whispers against my lips. This causes me to try and push him away which caused us to fall me landing on top of him. "Whats wrong clary?"he asks me.
"I...I...what?!" I ask him in shock.

"I said I love you..." he says his eyes straying to the ice benieth

"Wait...how long have you known?" I ask him. He looks up a confuse sad look in his eyes. So I ask again "how long have you known you love me?"
"Ive loved since the third grade..." he says a light blush kissing his cheeks.

"Well I guess this was expected then..." I say.

"What was expected?"

" I love you to...and have for a while." I say.

"Oh...thank god. I thought you ment that...we could no longer be friends." He sighs in relief. Thats when Magnus the DJ comes over and hands me a microphone. " here sweat heart sing it out." He says before starting the music. I smile knowing the tune a soon as it comes on.

I sing out my heart for this boy. The boy I grew up with...my best friend. My love...True love.
I just begin to notice the silance that had fallen over my classmates and the crowd. I smile shyly and skate back to jace who smiles and kisses me. It slow and sweet, and thats when the silance is finally filled with cheers and shouts of congratulation.
This is when I realize the tears in his eyes...
