Y/n slowly opened her eyes

The sun was still not up

The forest was silent

Sunoo sat beside the fire

"sunoo?" she calls as she sat up, the boy didn't turn "sunoo you okay?" she asked as she tilted her head confused, the boy only stood up before facing her "I'm... I'm going" he says looking down "what? Where?" confusion was all she felt "i can't stay with you.. You.. You said you can handle yourself right?" he says now facing her

"sunoo that's-"

"you don't need me" he added, something about his stare, it was nothing but..

Coldness, his face was expressionless "it was nice meeting you" he says before turning away

"sunoo if this is one of your jokes this isn't funny!" she shouted as she stood up, the boy didn't respond and just walked away "sunoo! Wait!" she shouted following the boy, sunoo stopped walking and faced her "you deserve this you heartless-" the boy didn't continue and just walked away "h-how dare you!" she shouted as she ran after him, she grabbed him on the shoulder "don't touch me" he snapped coldly "sunoo don't do this to me" her voice started to shake as she held on him tighter

His hand balled in to a fist

The birds flew away as a loud noise took over

Y/n was on the ground, tears rolling down her cheeks as she held her bleeding cheek "s-sunoo" she whispered her voice slightly breaking

"y/n?"

"when i say don't touch me, don't even try" sunoo said aggressively

"but-"

"Just.. Shut up!" the boy shouted making the girl flinch

"y/n!"

"you don't need me and i don't need you.. We're even" sunoo whispered before walking away leaving the girl sobbing "sunoo! Please!" she begged

"Y/N!"

She immediately sat up as her eyes opened, she was sweating and panting.

"are you oka-"

"YAH!" sunoo shouted as he grabbed his red cheek "how dare you.." she says in disbelief "what? How dare me? How dare you!" he complained as he glared at the girl "you left me then you're coming back like nothi-" she stopped as soon as she realized, the boy was stunned by her words, he knew she was dreaming but man he didn't expect her to dream about him "using brains are allowed by the way" sunoo said as he stood up, massaging his cheek, the girl immediately threw a small rock at him "hey!" he complained as he avoided the small rock "so what was the dream about?" sunoo asked as he handed an apple to the girl "i don't wanna talk about it" she mumbled as she bit on her apple

"fun fact! This forest gives you dreams about the things you don't want to happen" sunoo said, a mischievous smile slowly growing "so that means you don't want me to leave you huh?" he teased with a laugh, she froze

Does she really not want him to leave?

"where did you even get that information from!" she raised her voice "from.. Myself?" he said laughing nervously

"well would you look at that you used your brain for once!" sunoo smiled and clapped his hands "i hate you" she whispered "awe come on, you can't even live without me right now" the boy said proudly "i don't need you" she says calmly "stop denying i know you do!" he said smiling

If only she could hit him with something she would do it

"once i get out of here I'm leaving you here" she said smiling at the boy "how dare you! Well it's not like I'll come anyway" he said as he dusted himself "wait seriously" she asked "no! I'm off to find my parents" he says, determined, she only nodded in response

"to be honest.. I really wanna go home" she whispered

He felt a stab inside his chest

"ah.. Me too" he mumbled

He knew it was selfish but he couldn't help but ask himself what else he needed to do to make her stay

He wanted to keep her

But he knew too well he can't..
