𝚃𝚞𝚋𝚋𝚘 𝙿𝙾𝚅

"Tommy! Stay with us!" I yelled at my best friend as he hurried ahead again. Tommy, Ranboo, and I had decided to hunt together. Ranboo and I talked mostly, occasionally stopping to kill a cow or chicken. We didn't kill sheep or pigs, because it just felt wrong, as I was like sheep and one of Ranboo's caretakers, Techno, was a pig. He only agreed to hunt to spend time with us, as he is a vegetarian. Tommy hurried back, walking by my side again. His ears twitched slightly, picking up every little sound in the forest. Eventually I sighed, knowing he was bound to run off again soon. "Go ahead." I motion toward the endless trees in front of us. Tommy grinned at me, his braces showing, before running ahead of us, undoubtedly toward some unsuspecting animal.

"It's funny to watch him hunt." Ranboo says, glancing around, looking at the greenery. 

"How so?" I look up at the tall endermen. 

"Has he ever caught something?" Ranboo's head moves slightly to the side when he asks. I think about this for a moment. Tommy always wants to hunt, but I can't think of a time he actually caught something.

"No. I don't think he has." Ranboo laughs and I join him. In our laughter, we don't notice a skeleton approaching. The skeleton ends up shooting an arrow before we notice it, causing me to take some damage. It doesn't really hurt me, as my Netherite armor is strong, but it still damages me. I turn to face the weak mob, but before I can hurt it, it's tackled to the ground and quickly killed. 

"Take that, bitch." Tommy says, one of its bones, which is in his mouth, muffling his words. He turns to us, and gives us a expression of confusion. "What?" I wipe my surprised look away and start laughing. Ranboo is still in shock, but recovers.

"Tommy, why did you do that?" Tommy shrugs, and walks off, hunting again. Ranboo has to wait for me to calm down before he asks me a question. "What is Tommy a hybrid of again?" I give him a look of 'really?' He shrugs. 

"You can't tell by the ears? He is a Wolf and baby zombie." 

"That's what I thought. This question came to mind a couple of weeks ago, but I didn't want to anger him, so I never asked."

"What is it?"

"If wolves get attached to their owners, then who is Tommy attached to?" I pause, thinking about this. I rule out the obvious people first. The people Tommy loves. Eret, Wilbur, Phil, Techno, Ranboo, Sam Nook, me. I eliminate Phil and Techno, because he hates them now. Wilbur is too mean for him to get attached to, so I don't think it's Wilbur. Ranboo and Sam he has only known for a bit, so he might be loyal to them, but wolves are only loyal to one person. That leaves Eret and I. Eret has the same reasoning as Ranboo and Sam's because Tommy only recently found out he was his father so that leaves...

"Me. He is loyal to me." I practically whisper my realization. "He attacked the skeleton because it hurt me." Ranboo nods. 

"We should test it out. See if you're right." I nod, and Ranboo pulls his sword. "I'm sorry, Tubbo."

"It's okay. It's for science." Ranboo nods again and hits me in the shoulder, slicing a deep cut, one that couldn't be protected by my armor. I wince a little and blood drips down my arm. There is a flash of movement and suddenly Ranboo is on the ground and Tommy is ripping off his armor. 

"THE FUCK DID YOU DO, YOU STUPID SON OF A BITCH ENDERMEN!" He shouts as Ranboo tries to defend himself, failing each time he tries to deflect Tommy's claws. 

"TOMMY GET OFF!" I yell pulling him toward me and off Ranboo. He relaxes immediately when he sees me, but when he sees my cut, his eyes go from calm to angry. 

"He did this, didn't he?" Tommy spits acid and points to Ranboo, who is slightly shaking and standing up. 

"Tommy, it was a test!" 

"Of what! I can't let you get hurt!" 

"It was a test to see if you would attack him. To see if you were loyal to me." Tommy opens his mouth to respond, but can't seem to find words. He looks surprised and sits on the luscious green grass. 

"Loyal to you? What do you fucking mean?" I shake my head and point to the blonde ears on his head, the signal of him being a Wolf. He nods slowly. "That makes sense. You are my best friend." I smile at him, sitting in front of him in the grass. 

"It's good to know I have a protector! Someone who will help me and harm anyone who hurts me!" Tommy seems to be regaining his normal enthusiasm. 

"Yeah! I mean, who wouldn't want big man Tommy to be their guardian?" He stands up and races into the trees. I smile, shaking my head. Ranboo still seems a little shaken up, but he is better than before. He offers a hand, which I take, and he pulls me up to a standing position. 

"Can you not sic your demon of a guardian on me next time?" I laugh, shaking my head yes. 

"Of course. Don't want you dead." Ranboo smiles and we continue our walk, feeling safer than we did before knowing we had someone by our side.
