The first time I met her was by the lake, she was swimming in that beautiful glowing pool of water, it was a full moon, making her even more unreal.
It was the first time I had seen it during the night, with fireflies and lily pads surrounding the magical looking water, it looked like something straight out of a storybook, but I couldn't take my eyes off her, her body.
I didn't mean to stare, but it was impossible not to, she looked like a goddess.

She seemed ethereal that night. She looked so calm, so bright and sweet.
With just a slight amount of light on her body making her curves look so defined, her hair floating around her and her arms moving slightly to keep her afloat.

I think I fell in love with her just by looking at her floating there, eyes closed. But when she looked at me and I heard her laugh for the first time, I instantly had a new addiction.
That look and slight laugh, was enough to make me get in the water myself.
We swam towards each other, introduced ourselves, and that was it.
It felt like I lost the ability to breathe, but she became my oxygen. She wasn't afraid of me, nor did she find me weird. Because she felt it too.

When I looked at her it felt like life finally had meaning, when she spoke it felt like I finally had a drink of water after weeks of being thirsty. Her gaze made me feel like the luckiest woman in the world.

Most of that night we spent in the water, studying each other, talking, getting to know each others bodies. We became one.

I never believed in fate, the gods or soulmates until I found her.
She made it all happen.

Everything.
