Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Awkward Conversations and Cliche Run-ins

Recap: Lunch passes smoothly and Kawa introduces me to his table. Kuroo, the guy with the rooster bangs, introduces me to his boyfriends, Kenma Kozume, Koutaro Bokuto, and Keiji Akaashi. Kozume, a blond boy with dark roots, is playing on a psp, while Akaashi is leaning against Bokuto. I let out a nervous chuckle. A Grey haired guy stares intently at me and Kawa and it's giving me the creeps.

Lev POV

~

"Uh sir," I turn towards the ashy haired boy, "can you please stop staring at me? It's making me uncomfortable.." The comment seems to snap him out of his trance, because he looks up at me with a guilty expression settled on his face.

"Sorry about that. I- uhhh- I'm Miya Osamu, Atsumu's twin brother." He says. Kawa looks up from his lunch and looks between Atsumu and Osamu.

"Wait- so if you're twins, is your hair color natural or dyed?" He asks, a hint of amusement obvious in his tone.

"Dyed" The twins say in unison, before wincing and yelling at each other about who copied who. I laugh at Kawa's question and finish my sandwich.

The bell rings soon after and our table cleans up fast before heading off to our respective classes. I walk down the hall with Tobio and Yamaguchi Tadashi, a green haired boy I met during lunch. Together, we head towards English.

-Time skip-

"Dammmm.." I sigh, staring at my feet with my backpack slung across my right shoulder.

"Lev, what's up?" Tobio asks from behind me.

"My English teacher gave us this huge assignment that's due by the end of the week." A whine escaping from my lips as my feet dragged on the white floor of the hallway.

"Ouch, what's it about?"

"The Odyssey."

"Oh, we just finished that in my class."

The three of us fall back into a comfortable silence.

3rd POV

~

'Crash!'

Two bodies collide.

Books fall out of the taller boy's hands as he looks down at the short boy in surprise.

"I'm sorry!!Imsosososososososorry!!!!!" Lev fumbled, apologizing repeatedly before holding his hand out to the reddish blonde haired boy.

"...it's ok, calm down." The boy responds, a blush spreading across his pale cheeks.

He takes Lev's hand and stands up, dusting himself off and smiling slightly at the tall Russian boy.

"Oh! I'm Haiba Lev! Nice to meet you by the way 😊" Lev exclaims, a hint of excitement leaking into his voice.

"Yaku Morisuke" The shorter boy, Yaku, replies.

Lev turns to leave, realising that his friends already walked away to their next classes.

"Crap! I am so sorry about running into you," Lev begins, fidgeting slightly, "and I'd love to talk to you again, hopefully in better circumstances, but I'm going to be late to class!" Lev bows quickly, apologizing, and runs off down the hall.

Yaku POV

~

'Cute...'

The grey haired boy, Lev, runs down the hall and I look at my hands. A tingling sensation begins and I see a faint glow of red connecting from my pinky finger and tracing it's way down the hall.
