"Babe!" I look behind me and I saw Chaeyoung running towards me with my favorite smile she's wearing. I stopped on my track and waited for her. I stretch my arm waiting for her hand to hold mine. Not for long, our hands are intertwined with each other.

She kiss my cheeks and she seems very much cheerful today. "You're happy." I noticed her being full of beans. She always like that, but this very day I find  it different.

"Of course I'm happy. You're with me and it's a special day." I halfway close my eyes trying to figure out what made this day special.

"What day is today?" I asked. Well as far as I remember, it's not our anniversary, we've been together for a year now, by the way. She's second year and I'm on my last year.

Back to story, it's not our anniversary because if that's the case, I'm doomed. And it's not her birthday also.

"It's your birthday silly." I form a small circle in my mouth surprised by her reply.

"Oh? It's my birthday?"

"Yes. How can you forget your own birthday?" I saw her playfully rolled her eyes because of my stupidness. I laughed a little.

"Happy birthday love." She greeted then handed me a present. "How sweet. Although, you don't have to give me a present cause you're the best gift that I ever received, but thank you for this." I replied then peck her on her lips. She released a heartfelt giggle. "Open it."

Not to burst her bubble, I follow what she said. I opened the box and I saw necklace with a small key pendant. "Let me." She volunteered. She took the necklace and put it on me.

After she put it, I touch the pendant. "Thanks for this love." I sincerely said appreciating her effort. "Look at this." She showed me her necklace with a heart pendant. I look closely and there's a key hole in it.

So it's a couple necklace.

"So it means that you're the only one who owns my heart." She happily explaining the meaning of our necklace.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

We walked hand in hand towards her class. This is the best birthday ever.

It's our semestral break so I invited Chaeng to come with me visiting my house in Jeju. It's my grandparents house but since I haven't visited them last year semestral break because I'm with Chaeyoung, I want to visit them this time together with my girlfriend.

We're here and Chaeng won't stop herself from squealing and admiring the place. It's located in the elevated part of the town and there's a huge farm in front of the main house, and at the back, there's a massive land of field full of flowers and tall grasses.

"This place is beautiful."

"Good thing you like it. I'll show you around tomorrow while riding horses."

"You have horse here?" She surprisingly asked. I nod my head in agreement. Right on cue, my grandparents came to welcome us.

"Jisoo. Ohh my sweetheart." My grandma engulf me in a tight hug. "I miss you grandma." I softly said. She pulled from the hug and my grandpa do the same thing.

After we're free from the hug, I stand next to Chaeyoung. "Grandma, Grandpa, this is Chaeyoung my girlfriend." My sexual preference is not hidden to them, so no need to hide. I know for sure they will accept me and my girlfriend.
