Chapter One

THIRD PERSON POV

TW: verbal and physical abuse

(Flashback to 2011)
Yn is 17years old, in an awful situation. No bio family, no friends, no help. She's stuck in a very abusive relationship with Emmilano. One starry night the two went out for the first time since he first showed his true colours. They went to Yn's favourite restaurant and when the two got there they felt anxious to go in with him. She'd know that at somepoint he would start something and they'd be left at the table alone scared to move or even make a sound.
It was typical of Emmilano to do those things.
"Come on Princess my treat" he claims
Yn knew that by him saying 'my treat' she'd have to pay. As the evening continues Yn notices 4 boys going on the stage to perform. They seemed quite young but as they played Yn noticed the band name, she took mental note of it to look them up later. As the couple ate Yn thought it was worth asking a question
"Hey do you think we could sit closer to the band?"
"No, Why would you even ask that?"
"I just thought that-"
Yn was interrupted by him almost yelling due to his anger
"Thought what!? Thought you could get closer and be an attention whore!"
She looked around noticing some stares even one from the boy in the band while they're playing. They got up excusing herself to the bathroom hearing a typical "Of course"
Once they came back to the table Emmilano was up ready to leave.
"C'mon lets go"
"We still need to pay tho"
"So? You pay it. My patience is wearing out and you aren't helping"
Yn suddenly got the courage to speak back to him, not being scared.
"But you said it was your treat"
"And what about it? I say that all the time yet you still pay so pay"
"No. You said your treat and this time you're going to pay"
"Oh yea and why's that? I'm the one in control here you little bitch"
Feeling more anxious but still confident Yn didn't back down. She continued arguing until everyone was focused on the two fighting. This was exactly what Yn planned too, make a scene, show that he was abusive, be saved, and Emmilano goes away.
Then after yelling he slapped them. It's like everyone gasped in shock and even the band stopped playing at the time.
"Babe- Baby- I'm so sorry oh my god I don't know what happened"
Next thing is one of the boys that was playing spoke up
"I do. You yelled and hit her. You abused her publicly"
Two men came up to her and helped them up when the owner and chef said
"Hold it c'mon darling I'll help you. She doesn't need to be around more men after him."
One of them spoke up defending but understanding,
"We know we just wanted to help"
"Well you can help by keeping him here until the cops come"
The woman pointed to Emmilano and he got even angrier, so you stepped back into the fight while in the arms of the woman.
"THIS IS RIDICULOUS THATS MY GIRLFRIEND"
"IF IM YOUR GIRLFRIEND WHY DID YOU ABUSE ME SO MUCH?!. I HAVE SCARS BECAUSE OF YOU. YOU TOOK MY LIFE AWAY FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT"
"Bitch stop lying it isn't polite"
"Im not lying everyone heres a witness"
That's when he realized he better run before anyone came, but couldn't as the two men got him.
"Youre not leaving until you go to jail"
"Forget jail, prison"
The rest of the night was dramatic and almost traumatizing of what happened. Police came and he fought, Yn was hurt and helped, the band was shocked and felt bad. Everyone left except the owner whose name was Gloria, Yn, and the band.
