CHAP. 4

"Baba? (Crying) Baba!.." Lan walks closer and hugs his father's chest while sobbing "What happened, my dear?" His father caresses his head and takes him inside
"Baby tell me, what happened?" His father was worried beyond limits..

"He must be with Yunlan, right? Don't worry he will be back" Wei's mom said on phone but hung up the call when she sees Lan crying and sniffling in his father's hold..

"I will call back within ten minutes"

"Uh, what happened? why at this late night?" Lan runs and hugs his mother tightly.. "Give him water," Ming said and she goes to bring the water and Ming makes him sit..

Lan was constantly crying and saying he won't go back.. he won't go back. His parents ask what is the matter and Lan told them that Ying and his sister goes out leaving him at home alone.. his statement makes his mother angry

"This is not a big issue that you are crying like this.. (She sighs) You scare me badly" She scolds him and makes him drink the water "Do they know that you are here?" Ming asks holding his hand and Lan shook his head

"I ask you to don't rush his wedding" She gets worried as Lan was constantly crying "How is it related to the wedding?"

"Are you out of your mind?" Ming scolds him and Lan sobbed louder "You also scolds me?.. JieJie scolds me, Ying scolds me and now you are also scolding me!!" Lan covers his face while putting it on his thighs

"You go and wash your face then your father will drop you at your home.. or else I am calling Ying" She again scolds him and Lan hugs her while pleading that he won't go back at any cost..

He cries louder making his parents worried "What do I do with him?" She sigh and Ming pulled him in his embrace "Okay okay, let it be!... Leave him" Lan snuggles to his chest

In the other house, Yunlan's parents were worried dead Wei didn't come back yet.. His father was walking back and forth in tension as the phone rings. He rushed towards it

"Yeah but who are you talking?.. What!! Which hospital? Okay, we will be there in no time"

Yunlan's mom also runs to her husband and he told her that Shen Wei meets with an accident.. She gets shocked and cries..

Ming gets a call and the colours of his face changed to blank.. he went inside the room where his wife was making Lan understand the importance of true relations.. Ming goes and sits on the edge of the bed being all like crying

"What happened?" His wife asks and he didn't produce words to tell them "That...... Wei!!"

"What Wei?" She asks again being curious "He meets with an accident" Ming's voice broke while speaking and others get shocked.. Lan put his hand on his mouth and his heart trembles.. "What!!"

In the hospital, Wei was taken to the ER and one doctor gets shocked seeing him "Shen Wei??" He comes out and dialled a number "Yes, Mac?"

"Yutong, reach the hospital as soon as possible!" Mac said and Yutong sigh lightly "No! I am so tired"

"Actually, Wei meets with an accident and he is injured"

"What!! Wei's accident?" Yutong gets astonished and asked for others. Mac told him that he is alone no one is with him.. Yutong turns the car back towards the hospital..

On the other side, Ying was trying to call Lan but the other was not attending which makes him irritated. He shouts at his sister. Ying was restless and tries to call Lan's house again but no one receives it. His sister again starts saying he just goes to Yao's house and this and that..

"I will go and...." Ying wants to go to his house but his mother grabs his arm. She forbids him to go out of the house saying how dare he goes by himself and Ying won't go to pick him.. He goes by himself and returns in the same way too
